Official rules

The games at developerlook.com/play are run by DeveloperLook LLC, 30 N Gould St, Sheridan, WY ("DeveloperLook", "we"). Questions go to hello@developerlook.com.

The games are free. Nothing has to be bought to play or to win, and buying something does not change the odds.

You must be 18 or older. Any kind of business can take part, and you don't need a website to play.

The games are void where prohibited. Players in Cuba, Iran, North Korea and Syria can play and win the icon pack only. Residents of Quebec can't take part.

Prizes are given out in rounds. Each round is its own promotion, with its own dates in New York time.

• Website check quiz: finish it for one spin of the prize wheel.
• Daily spin: one spin of the prize wheel.
• Spot the 5 mistakes: find all five in 60 seconds for one spin; fewer earns an icon pack.
• Bullseye: your best arrow sets your prize. The bullseye wins one of the three audits, picked with the odds below. The inner rings win the full industry icon pack, and the outer rings or a miss win an icon pack.

You don't sign up to play. Once you have won, we ask for your name and email to send your prize and results; both are required to receive it.

One prize per game, per day, per email address. The day resets at midnight New York time, and the limit is checked when you send your prize. You can play again with a different email address; we don't limit plays by device, cookie or IP address, apart from a limit on bursts of requests that stops automated abuse.

Our server draws one prize for each play, and the page can't choose it. Your browser keeps a win you haven't sent, for about an hour, so a reload shows the same prize. An unsent win holds nothing back: if its prize reaches a limit before you send it, you get another prize of the same kind or the next kind down, and we say so when you send it.

One full industry icon pack per email address per round, and one audit per email address every 12 months.

Everyone wins a prize: there are no "try again" slices. Our server picks each prize at random with a cryptographic random number and these odds; the wheel only shows the prize it picked.

A prize that reaches its weekly or monthly limit, or would take the round past its ceiling, is skipped until the limit resets, and its odds move to the icon pack.

Each round gives out at most $4,500 in audits, counted at the values above. When the next prize would pass it, that prize closes for the rest of the round.

You confirm your email with the link we send within 48 hours; a prize left unclaimed goes back into the pool.

Winners in Canada answer a simple maths question before a full industry icon pack or an audit is delivered, with three tries.

Icon packs download as soon as the email is confirmed and you pick your industry. An audit comes as a PDF report within 48 hours of that, once we know which website to check.

Winners handle their own taxes. A winner in the United States whose prizes from us reach $600 or more in a year gives us a W-9 form before delivery.

The games keep your name, your email, your website address if you add one, your answers and scores, and the IP address and country your play came from. We use them to run the game, check winners and deliver prizes, and we keep them with your email in our customer records. The newsletter only starts if you tick its box. See the privacy policy.

These rules are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, where DeveloperLook is based. Our decisions on eligibility and winners are final.

We may change, pause or cancel a round if something outside our control, a fault or fraud affects it. Prizes already confirmed are still delivered. Any change is posted on this page with its date.

Changed on 5 November 2026: the prizes are now the five listed above, and the full icon library is no longer a prize. Prizes won before that date are still delivered.
