About the project

Toursin Project Overview

DeveloperLook designed and built Toursin, a travel and tour app where travelers explore destinations, book tours and hotels, and manage itineraries. Travel agents and admins work from a separate dashboard for packages, bookings, and customer data.

Toursin is a tour and travel platform meant to make trip planning simpler for 2 groups: travelers and the travel agencies that serve them. The project covered a mobile app for exploring destinations, booking tours and hotels, managing itineraries, and checking live travel information. It also covered a dashboard where agents and admins manage packages, bookings, and customer data.

New users start by picking the places they want to explore from a photo grid of cities such as Bali, Bangkok, and Singapore. The home screen shows the nearest destination, popular hotels, and shortcuts for holidays, tickets, and hotels. Travelers can search a city, browse hotel pins on a map, compare rooms, and read facilities and reviews before they book.

The work ran in 5 phases: research, structure and concept, UI/UX design with development preparation, mobile app development, and testing with post-release support. A brand guideline set the Manrope typeface and a palette of orange, dark orange, charcoal black, and warm grey. That identity carries through the app, the dashboard, the social media posts, and the billboard concepts.

Challenge and solution

What Toursin Needed and How We Built It

The challenge

Toursin needed a booking experience that handled a lot of travel data without overwhelming travelers.

Destinations, schedules, prices, and availability all had to stay easy to scan on a phone. On the agency side, the dashboard had to support real-time updates, analytics, and customer management. Across both platforms, visual appeal, functionality, and system performance had to stay in balance.

Our solution

We built a visual travel app where people discover destinations, compare packages, and book securely in a few taps.

Personalized recommendations and live booking tracking help travelers follow each trip once it is booked. For agencies, the dashboard handles listings, reservations, revenue monitoring, and user trend analysis. We kept the interface clean and tuned both platforms for performance.

What we built

Features We Built for Toursin

  • Destination picker onboarding

New users pick the places they want to explore, such as Bali, Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, or Singapore, from a photo grid. The Explore screen then groups destinations under tabs such as For you, Beach, Mountain, and Waterfall.

  • Hotel search and map

Search lists hotels for each city tab with prices and ratings, and a map view pins every result. Photo cards along the bottom of the map let travelers compare options by location.

  • Room selection

Each hotel page shows its rating, common facilities such as free Wi-Fi and parking, and a short description. On the Select Room step, travelers compare named rooms by bedrooms, bathrooms, rating, and nightly price.

  • Facilities and guest reviews

A full facilities page separates property amenities, such as internet, parking, food, and family options, from room amenities. The reviews screen shows the average score, a star breakdown, recent comments, and a Write a Review button.

  • Booking and card payment

The booking screen collects check-in and check-out dates and shows the selected card. A summary lists the charge with taxes and fees before Pay Now, and travelers can add a new card.

  • Digital booking ticket

Each confirmed stay gets a booking ticket with the hotel, booking date, room type, price, app fee, total, and a barcode. The reservation details stay together in one screen.

  • Trip planning tools

Tabs for a day plan, timeline, expenses, and tickets help travelers organize each trip. Shortcuts open villas, apartments, car rental, vouchers, price alerts, food, and luggage options.

  • Agency dashboard

Agents and admins run packages, bookings, the calendar, travelers, guides, deals, and feedback from a left sidebar. The overview charts weekly revenue, ranks top destinations, and lists upcoming trips and recent messages.

FAQ

Questions About the Toursin Project

  • A tour and travel platform with a mobile app for travelers and a dashboard for travel agents and admins. Travelers use the app to discover destinations, book tours and hotels, and keep their itineraries together. Agencies use the dashboard to manage packages, reservations, and customer data from one place.

  • They search by city or browse hotel pins on a map, then open a hotel to check its facilities, reviews, and rooms. After choosing a room, they set check-in and check-out dates, confirm a saved card or add a new one, and pay. The app then shows a booking ticket with a barcode.

  • One place to run listings and reservations. The sidebar covers packages, bookings, a calendar, travelers, guides, a gallery, messages, deals, and feedback. The overview tracks bookings, new customers, and earnings, charts revenue by week, and highlights top destinations and upcoming trips. Package pages hold detailed itineraries, and traveler records sit in one list.

  • In 5 phases. Research came first, followed by structure and concept work. UI/UX design and development preparation came next, then mobile app development. The final phase covered testing and support after release. A brand guideline with the Manrope typeface and an orange-led palette kept the app, the dashboard, and the marketing assets consistent.

  • Yes. We'd begin with your packages, hotel partners, and booking rules, then map what travelers need in the app and what your agents need in the dashboard. Design and development follow a phased plan like the one used for Toursin, with testing before release. Send us your current setup and we'll tell you where to start.
