DeveloperLook designed and developed Bookme, a vacation rental app that connects travelers with short-term rentals around the world. Guests search, book, and manage stays on their phones, while hosts run rooms, bookings, guests, and messages from a web dashboard.
Bookme is a vacation rental app that connects travelers with unique short-term rental properties around the world. The goal was a clear, visually appealing product that makes it simple to discover, book, and manage a vacation stay. It serves both sides of the rental: the guests who book and the hosts who list their properties.
The guest app opens with a search for location, dates, and guests, followed by popular stays with their nightly price and rating. Search suggests places and hotels as the traveler types, and a filter narrows results by rating, price range, facilities, and property type. Each property page shows photos, a rating, the facilities, a description, and the nightly price beside a Book Now button. After booking, the stay moves into My Booking History, split into upcoming, completed, and canceled trips, with an e-receipt to download.
Around those core flows sit favorites saved into collections, notifications, reviews with stars and photos, a country picker, and a live chat screen. Hosts work from a web dashboard with revenue statistics, a booking schedule, owner management, and pages to add and manage rooms, bookings, and guests, plus payments and messages. The gallery also shows the Bookme brand: its logo and app icon, social media posts, and a billboard for the app.
Challenge and solution
The challenge
Guests expected advanced search filters, dynamic calendars, secure payments, and high-resolution photos. All of it had to load quickly and stay easy to use, so the real work was balancing a long feature list against simplicity.
Our solution
Guests get interactive maps, smart filters, and clear calls to action from the first search to the e-receipt. Hosts get a dashboard for managing bookings, rooms, guests, payments, and messages. A bright palette and large travel photography give the app a sense of adventure while keeping it trustworthy.
What we built
Travelers enter a location, dates, and the number of guests. Search suggests matching places, hotels, and villas as they type, and a guest sheet counts adults, children, and infants separately.
A filter sheet narrows stays by star rating and a minimum and maximum nightly price. Guests also pick facilities such as free Wi-Fi, a pool, or laundry, and a type: hotel, villa, apartment, or resort.
Each stay shows a photo gallery, its rating and review count, and icons for Wi-Fi, pool, beach, air conditioning, and gym. A description and the nightly price sit above the Book Now button.
My Booking History sorts trips into upcoming, completed, and canceled. Each e-receipt lists the dates, rooms, and guests, breaks down the amount, tax, and discount, and carries a barcode to download.
Guests save stays into favorite collections and return to them later. After a trip they rate the stay with stars, write about the experience, and add their own photos to the review.
A live chat screen connects guests with support while they plan. A notification feed lists confirmed bookings, discount offers, expired payment codes, and reminders to review a stay, grouped by day.
Hosts follow revenue statistics and a monthly booking schedule, then add and manage rooms, bookings, and guests. Payments, owner management, and guest messages sit in the same web dashboard.
