About the project

Glamory Project Overview

DeveloperLook designed and built Glamory, a makeup and beauty ecommerce app for discovering and buying products, plus a dashboard where sellers manage orders, products, and customer analytics.

Glamory is a makeup and beauty ecommerce app for people who enjoy finding new products. The goal was a shopping app that helps them discover, try, and buy products with ease. Brands and sellers, in turn, manage inventory, campaigns, and customer engagement from a dedicated dashboard. The project covered app design and development for the fashion and makeup space.

The app opens on a splash screen with the Glamory logo, followed by an onboarding screen about beauty that fits each shopper's skin and style. The home screen offers a search bar, a filter button, a row of brands, and category chips such as moisturizers and serums. Product pages show an image gallery, the brand, the sale and original price, and a description. Recent and popular searches, a favorites list, and a cart with coupon codes lead into a three-step checkout.

After a purchase, shoppers follow each order through a status timeline from confirmation to delivery, then write a review. A Today feed lists order and account alerts.

The admin dashboard gives sellers a view of sales, customers, and products, with a sales report chart, top customers, and recent activity. Separate pages cover order tracking, order creation, product stock status, product upload and editing, and analytics. The design set counts 33+ pages, and the brand uses Open Sans with soft pink, dark pink, and black.

Challenge and solution

What Glamory Needed and How We Built It

The challenge

Glamory needed a beauty shopping app that looked refined and still felt easy to use.

Beauty shoppers expect rich product visuals, simple browsing, and recommendations that suit them. Sellers needed a reliable backend for product uploads, sales analytics, and customer insights. The hard part was one design language that held beauty, trust, and technology together.

Our solution

We designed and built a soft, feminine shopping app with gentle gradients, product-first layouts, and smooth interactions.

The app pairs smart product search with virtual try-on integration, a wishlist, and a short checkout. On the admin side, a clean, data-led dashboard lets sellers manage products, promotions, and customer analytics in real time.

What we built

Features We Built for Glamory

  • Onboarding and home discovery

A splash screen and onboarding introduce products matched to skin type and style. The home screen adds search, a filter button, a row of brands, and category chips such as moisturizers and serums.

  • Search and favorites

Recent searches stay listed with a clear option for each one, and popular searches show product cards with Add To Cart. A heart on every product saves it to a favorites list for later.

  • Detailed product pages

Each product page shows an image gallery, the brand, the product name, the sale price beside the original price, and a description. Wishlist and bag buttons sit at the top of the screen.

  • Cart and checkout

The cart handles quantities, coupon codes, discounts, and delivery charges before a three-step checkout. Shoppers pick a saved address tagged Home, Office, or Other, then pay by card, digital wallet, or UPI.

  • Order tracking and reviews

My Orders splits upcoming and past orders with Cancel and View Order buttons. Order details show a timeline from confirmation and shipping to delivery, and shoppers can write a review afterward.

  • Seller dashboard overview

The dashboard home shows total sales, customers, and products with a sales report chart by week, month, and year. A top customers list and a feed of recent inventory and price changes sit beside it.

  • Order and product management

Dashboard pages track orders, create new orders, and show each product with its stock status. A product form handles uploads and edits with images, descriptions, and properties, and an analytics page follows sales.

  • Soft pink brand system

The brand pairs a flower mark with the Glamory wordmark, the Open Sans typeface, and soft pink, dark pink, and black. It carries into an icon set, social posts, store signage, and a billboard.

FAQ

Questions About the Glamory Project

  • A makeup and beauty ecommerce app and an admin dashboard for brands and sellers. The app covers onboarding, home, search, favorites, product pages, cart, checkout, and order tracking. The dashboard covers the sales overview, orders, products, stock, and analytics. We also designed the brand system: logo, pink palette, Open Sans type, icons, social posts, and store signage.

  • Checkout runs in 3 steps: address, payment method, and review. Shoppers choose a saved address or add a new one, then pay by debit or credit card, a digital wallet, or UPI. Before that, the cart shows quantities, a coupon code field, the discount, delivery charges, and the grand total, so the final price is clear before paying.

  • From My Orders, which keeps upcoming and past orders apart. Each order opens a details screen with a status timeline: order confirmed, shipped, out for delivery, and delivered, each with a date and time. A Today feed also lists alerts such as a delivered order. Once the order arrives, the shopper can write a review from the same screen.

  • Sellers see total sales, customers, and products on the dashboard home, with a sales report chart, top customers, and recent activity. Separate pages track orders, create new orders, show product stock status, and handle product uploads and edits. An analytics page follows sales over time, and the side menu also links finances, invoices, discounts, chats, and email.

  • The onboarding screen frames the app around beauty that fits each shopper's skin and style. On the home screen, shoppers browse by brand or by category, such as moisturizers and serums, or use search and the filter button. Recent and popular searches speed up repeat visits, and the project also included virtual try-on integration to help shoppers choose.

  • Yes. DeveloperLook designs and builds beauty and retail shopping apps with product discovery, wishlists, carts, checkout, and order tracking. We can add a seller dashboard for orders, products, stock, and analytics. We start with how your customers shop and what your team manages each day, then shape the app and the dashboard around those steps.
