About the project

Login Project Overview

DeveloperLook designed and built Login, an HR app that lets employees clock in and out, follow their projects, and check past attendance approvals. Its home screen doubles as a dashboard with a live work timer.

Login is an HR app that gives employees one place to track work hours, manage tasks, and review their attendance history. The project sits in HR project management, and DeveloperLook covered both the app design and its development. Its home screen acts as a dashboard, the first stop for clocking in, viewing ongoing projects, and checking past attendance approvals.

The home screen opens with a greeting and a dark shift card showing the role, scheduled hours, and clock buttons. After clock-in, a counter tracks the length of the work session. Below it, Today Project lists current tasks with their assignees, followed by attendance history and a Hot News feed for company announcements.

A Services tab gathers the employee's other tools: attendance, leaves, projects, overtime, reports, payroll, reimbursement, and documents. Staff request leave against their available and used days, send expense claims with a supporting file, and follow weekly working hours and productivity. A payroll screen keeps the employee's card details, and a calendar and contact list help plan projects with colleagues.

For HR teams, a desktop dashboard gathers employee totals, time to hire, attendance, a time tracker, project evaluation, and schedules in one view. More pages cover the people directory, employee details, time off, the calendar, and project timelines, across more than 28 page designs.

Challenge and solution

What Login Needed and How We Built It

The challenge

Login needed one system that combined time tracking, project management, and attendance monitoring without overwhelming the people using it.

Clocking in and out, reading project updates, and checking attendance all had to sit within easy reach. That called for an interface that looked good and stayed practical, with careful attention to detail on every screen.

Our solution

We designed a clean home dashboard that brings time tracking, project updates, and attendance history into one organized interface.

Real-time tracking shows employees how long they have worked in the current session. Scheduled shift hours sit on the same card, so staff can see their day before they clock in.

What we built

Features We Built for Login

  • One-tap clock in and out

A dark shift card on the home screen shows the role and shift hours with Clock In and Clock Out buttons. Once a shift starts, a running timer displays the time worked so far.

  • Projects and subtasks

Today Project filters tasks into all, to do, ongoing, and done. Each project page shows priority, progress, deadline, and assigned teammates, with a subtask checklist and a Mark as Done action.

  • Attendance history log

Each attendance record lists the date, approval status, work location, clock-in and clock-out times, and total hours. A daily panel shows working and break time, and a weekly chart tracks hours worked.

  • Services in one grid

A Services tab groups 8 tools as tiles: attendance, leaves, projects, overtime, report, payroll, reimbursement, and document. Employees open any HR task from this one screen in the bottom navigation.

  • Leave requests with balance

The leave form opens with the employee's ID, position, and status, plus available and used leave days. Staff pick from and to dates, a leave type, and a reason, and a second tab keeps leave history.

  • Reimbursement claims

A reimbursement form records the employee name, date and time, department, and description, with a supporting document upload. After sending, a confirmation screen tells the employee the request was submitted.

  • Company news feed

A Hot News section on the home screen carries company announcements, such as an annual meeting invitation. Employees can share a news item to WhatsApp, LinkedIn, Instagram, or other apps.

  • Desktop HR dashboard

A desktop dashboard for HR teams tracks employee totals, time to hire, and attendance, alongside a time tracker, project evaluation, and schedule. Other pages hold the people directory, time off, a calendar, and project timelines.

FAQ

Questions About the Login Project

  • A mobile HR app for employees and a desktop dashboard for HR teams. The app handles clock-in and clock-out, projects and subtasks, attendance history, leave, payroll, reimbursement, and documents. The dashboard brings employee data, time tracking, project evaluation, time off, and schedules together across more than 28 page designs.

  • Through the shift card at the top of the home screen. It shows the employee's role and scheduled hours, with Clock In and Clock Out buttons side by side. Once the shift starts, a timer runs on the card. Each finished day then joins the attendance history with its approval status and total hours.

  • Through the Today Project list and the project pages. The list sorts tasks into to do, ongoing, and done, with teammates' avatars on each card. A project page adds priority, progress, deadline, a description, and a subtask checklist, while the calendar shows which projects fall on each day.

  • Leave, reimbursement, payroll, and documents, alongside attendance and projects. The Services tab lists 8 tools: attendance, leaves, projects, overtime, report, payroll, reimbursement, and document. Leave requests show available and used days first, and reimbursement claims take a description and a supporting file before a confirmation screen appears.

  • Yes. We build employee apps for HR teams with shift clock-in, live work timers, project and subtask tracking, attendance history, and leave and reimbursement requests. A desktop dashboard for HR staff and a company news feed can join them. We begin with the tasks your employees repeat each day and put the most frequent ones on the home screen.
