About the project
DeveloperLook designed and built the Payrole website, the landing page for a global payroll platform that automates payroll, tax compliance, and contract management for freelancers and remote teams.
Payrole is a global payroll platform for freelancers and remote teams. The company needed a website to serve as the platform's landing page. It had to explain the product, show its main features, and give businesses reasons to trust it before they sign up.
The home page opens with a clear promise about payroll for freelancers and a preview of the dashboard. Sections then follow the path a business takes. A contract tracker moves from created to sent, accepted, and signed. A contractor card shows role and hourly rate, followed by a payment request and a tax section. Partner logos, client quotes, and a create account button close the page. An about page covers the mission, the investors, and the team.
The gallery also shows the product screens we designed for Payrole. A web dashboard of 32+ pages covers employees, attendance, leave, projects, a time tracker, payroll, and service invoices, with a light and a dark mode. A companion mobile app lets workers clock in, request leave, and download payslips. The brand work runs from the logo and business cards to office signage, a billboard, and social posts.
Challenge and solution
The challenge
Paying freelancers also meant handling many currencies, payment methods, and regional employment laws inside one product. A system flexible enough for all of that called for long research and exact technical work.
Our solution
A backend built for multiple currencies keeps payments in line with labor laws across countries. The website explains this in plain steps (contracts, payments, and taxes), so businesses see how hiring and paying international talent works.
What we built
The home page leads with Payrole's offer of global payroll for freelancers and a preview of the dashboard. Partner logos, client quotes, and a create account button follow further down the page.
A section shows a contract moving through 4 steps: created, sent, accepted, and signed. It shows businesses how a new contractor goes from offer letter to onboarded.
A tax section explains that Payrole asks each user for the details it needs, then generates the right forms. A yearly tax summary and a total pay card sit beside it.
The dashboard greets each user by name and sums up total employees, attendance rate, new hires, and active projects. Shortcut links, an attendance heatmap, and a meeting schedule sit below.
Payroll pages track payroll cost, expenses, pending payments, bonuses, and incentives, with a payroll list by status. A service invoices page marks each invoice as paid, unpaid, or past due.
Employee pages show balances for casual, sick, earned, and unpaid leave, an attendance summary, and employment status. Each profile holds personal details, working hours, earnings, and awards.
Projects open in board, list, or calendar view with to do, in progress, and review columns. A time tracker records hours per task and lists time reports with their status.
The mobile app lets workers clock in and out, check attendance history, request leave, read company news, and open a monthly payslip with deductions and a download button.
