About the project

Gradely Project Overview

DeveloperLook designed and built Gradely, an e-learning website and learner dashboard for students, teachers, and institutions, bringing structured courses, interactive content, and progress tracking into one platform.

Gradely is an e-learning platform for students, teachers, and institutions. It brings structured courses, interactive content, and progress tracking together. It also gives educators a simpler way to design and evaluate lessons. DeveloperLook handled the web design and development.

The public website opens with a dark hero, a Browse Courses button, and links to courses, mentors, and the blog. Below it, learners pick from category cards such as UI/UX Design, Web Design, and Networking, then scan popular courses by topic. Instructor cards, learner reviews, a news section, and an FAQ complete the home page.

The course catalog pairs a search box and filters with course cards. Each course page lists what the course includes, shows the course fee, and suggests related courses. Mentor profiles add a bio, contact details, and skill bars.

Signed-in learners move to a dashboard with a sidebar for overview, courses, mentors, messages, and settings. From there they play lessons, open assignments, follow mentors, and manage their account and plan. The main pages also have tablet and phone layouts.

Challenge and solution

What Gradely Needed and How We Built It

The challenge

Gradely had to meet the needs of students and educators in a single platform.

Students wanted learning tools that felt engaging and easy to use. Teachers needed stronger features for creating content, tracking progress, and running assessments. The platform also had to support large numbers of users and courses without performance problems, while keeping learners motivated online.

Our solution

DeveloperLook designed a clear interface with personalized dashboards for students and teachers.

The dashboards simplified navigation and task management, from running courses to the day's lesson modules. Interactive modules and activity analytics were added to support engagement and performance monitoring. The platform was built on a scalable architecture to keep performance smooth under heavy use.

What we built

Features We Built for Gradely

  • Course-led home page

The home page leads with a Browse Courses button and category cards. Popular courses sorted by topic follow, along with instructor cards, learner reviews, recent articles, and an FAQ.

  • Searchable course catalog

Learners search the catalog and filter by category, level, instructor, time, and pricing. Each course card shows the rating, lesson count, duration, price, and an enroll button.

  • Detailed course pages

Each course page shows a description and what the course includes: instructor, lessons, duration, level, language, and tests. A course fee box holds the purchase button, and related courses follow.

  • Personal learner dashboard

The dashboard greets each learner by name and shows running courses with a progress ring. A weekly activity chart, featured mentors and courses, a calendar, and today's lesson modules sit alongside.

  • Video lessons and assignments

Lessons open in a video player with tabs that include assignments and reviews. Related courses sit below the player, so learners can pick their next topic without going back.

  • Mentor directory and profiles

A Mentors page lists instructors with their specialty, rating, and course count. Mentor pages show each instructor's courses, and public profiles add a bio, contact details, and skill bars.

  • In-platform messaging

A Messages screen lists conversations in one column and opens the selected thread beside it. Learners and mentors talk inside Gradely, with a search box and unread filters above the list.

  • Tablet and phone layouts

The home page, category cards, course fee box, and instructor lists adapt to tablets and phones. Smaller screens get a compact menu and cards stacked in a single column.

FAQ

Questions About the Gradely Project

  • DeveloperLook designed and developed the Gradely e-learning website and its learner dashboard. The public site covers the home page, course catalog, course pages, mentor profiles, articles, and an FAQ. Signed-in learners get a personal dashboard, a lesson player with assignments, My Courses, mentor pages, messages, and account settings with plan options.

  • Gradely is for students, teachers, and institutions that run online courses. Students browse courses, enroll, and follow their progress from a personal dashboard. Teachers and mentors get public profiles that list their courses, skills, and ratings. The platform also gives educators a simpler way to design and evaluate lessons.

  • The dashboard opens with a running course count and a progress ring, next to a weekly activity chart of hours spent learning. A calendar sits on the right, and today's lesson lists its modules with a done count. Learners see where they stand as soon as they sign in, without opening each course.

  • They start from category cards on the home page or the popular courses section, which sorts courses by topic. The full catalog adds a search box and filters for category, level, instructor, time, and pricing. Each course card shows the rating, lessons, duration, and price before a learner opens it.

  • Yes. Gradely's home page, category cards, course pages, instructor lists, and dashboard were laid out for tablets and phones as well as desktops. On small screens the menu collapses into a single button and cards stack in one column, so learners can browse and study away from a desk.

  • Yes, we can build an e-learning website with a course catalog, course pages, mentor profiles, and a learner dashboard like Gradely's. The right feature set depends on how you teach, who your learners are, and how you sell courses. Tell us about your programs, and we'll suggest what to build first and what can wait.
