About the project

Seatour Project Overview

DeveloperLook designed and built Seatour, a platform that connects travelers with unique stays and curated experiences. The project covered the customer website and an internal dashboard for hosts and admins.

Seatour pairs vacation rentals with guided experiences, from a gourmet food tour in London to a stay in a historic townhouse. Travelers use the public website to find and book them. Hosts and admins run listings, packages, and reservations from an internal dashboard.

The website has a dark, photo-led look with bold condensed headings. Its hero search asks where, when, and for how many guests. Results sit beside a map and filter by price, time of day, and categories such as art and culture or food and drink. Rental pages group stays by city and mark guest favorites and superhosts.

Experience pages carry a photo set, tabs for the itinerary, reviews, and guidance, and a short host profile. Travelers pick an open time slot and see the meeting point on a map. A confirm page then gathers guests, trip dates, a promo code, and the full price breakdown.

The dashboard uses a left sidebar for packages, bookings, the calendar, travelers, guides, the gallery, messages, deals, and feedback. Its home screen tracks bookings, new customers, and earnings next to a revenue chart, top destinations, and upcoming trips.

Challenge and solution

What Seatour Needed and How We Built It

The challenge

Seatour had to inspire travelers and give hosts serious management tools in the same product.

Visitors arrived looking for ideas and wanted a short path to booking. Hosts needed control over listings and reservations, with booking flows, payments, and calendar syncing working as one. The dashboard also had to stay clear as more properties and tours came on board.

Our solution

We built a responsive booking website with search and filters up front, plus a host dashboard for bookings and performance.

Reviews, detailed property pages, and clear pricing give travelers reasons to trust a listing before they pay. A sidebar layout keeps packages, travelers, guides, and deals in order as the catalog grows. Secure payment gateways and automated notifications connect the 2 sides.

What we built

Features We Built for Seatour

  • Map-based destination search

Travelers search by place, dates, and guest count, then browse results beside a map. Filters cover price, time of day, art and culture, entertainment, tours, and food and drink.

  • Experience detail pages

Each experience page combines a photo set with tabs for the overview, itinerary, reviews, and guidance. A list of inclusions and a host profile with verified identity follow.

  • Time slots and meeting point

Travelers choose a date and an open time slot priced per person. A map then marks the meeting point, so guests know where the tour starts before they book.

  • Vacation rental listings

Rental pages group stays by city and tag guest favorites and superhosts. A city search panel takes the location, check-in and check-out dates, adults, and children.

  • Trip confirmation and pricing

A confirm step lets travelers adjust guests, pick trip dates, and enter a promo code. The booking summary lists each price line, discount, and tax before payment.

  • Host dashboard home

The dashboard home tracks bookings, new customers, and earnings. A weekly revenue chart, top destinations, a calendar, upcoming trips, and recent messages share the same screen.

  • Packages and itineraries

Hosts manage travel packages with photos, prices, inclusions, and a day-by-day travel plan. Bookings, traveler records, guide profiles, deals, and feedback each have their own section.

FAQ

Questions About the Seatour Project

  • Seatour is a booking platform for vacation rentals and curated travel experiences. Travelers use the public website to discover stays, tours, and packages and book them. Hosts and admins use a separate dashboard to manage packages, bookings, travelers, guides, deals, and feedback in one place.

  • They search by place, dates, and guests, or browse destinations on the map. On an experience page, they read the itinerary and reviews, check the host profile, and choose an open time slot. A confirm page then shows guests, trip dates, a promo code field, and a full price breakdown before payment.

  • It opens with total bookings, new customers, and earnings. Below them sit a weekly revenue chart, top destinations, a calendar, upcoming trips, and recent messages. A left sidebar leads to packages, bookings, travelers, guides, the gallery, deals, and feedback, which keeps a growing catalog of stays and tours in order.

  • Yes. The website was designed for phones, tablets, and desktops. On a phone, travelers get the same search bar, destination cards, rental listings, trip confirmation steps, and message list. Each screen stacks into a single column with a compact menu at the top.

  • Yes. We'd begin with how your guests book today and what your hosts or staff manage behind the scenes. From there, we'd shape the search, listing pages, and checkout for travelers. Then we'd plan a dashboard for your packages, bookings, and payments around the way your team works.
