About the project

Staffic.io Project Overview

DeveloperLook designed and built staffic.io, the marketing website for its Staffic time tracking SaaS. The homepage opens on an interactive tour of the real app with sample data, and 173 pages cover features, comparisons, free templates and docs.

staffic.io is the marketing website for Staffic, DeveloperLook's time tracking and employee monitoring SaaS. It has one job: show remote and hybrid teams the real product before they sign up, then send them to a free account or the live demo.

The homepage opens on a dark hero with an interactive tour of the real app, built from screens captured in the Staffic demo workspace. Visitors click through the dashboard, live feed, screenshots, timesheets, payroll and Staffic AI on sample data, or take control of any highlighted item. Further down, a scrubber rewinds a workday through its screenshots and a bento of live cards shows how 16 modules share one console. Tabs then switch the Staffic AI demo between the app, Claude and Cursor.

Behind the homepage sit 38 feature pages, team type, use case and industry pages, and 12 comparison pages against tools such as Hubstaff and Time Doctor. A pricing calculator, a download page, free templates and calculators, a blog and 52 docs pages complete the site. The content lives in the Website Suite CMS and is read when the site builds.

The site is built with Next.js, React and Tailwind CSS and exported as a static site on Cloudflare Pages. Onest sets the headlines, Plus Jakarta Sans the body text and JetBrains Mono the small labels.

Challenge and solution

What Staffic.io Needed and How We Built It

The challenge

The old staffic.io was slow on phones.

A September 2026 audit measured a 9.8 second mobile LCP and a 4.6 MB homepage, with 60 MB of PNG assets behind the site. Buyers compare Staffic with Hubstaff, Time Doctor and ActivTrak, so the site also had to show the real product and answer those comparisons in plain terms. Every feature, team type, competitor and template needed its own page without hand-coding each one.

Our solution

We rebuilt the site around the product itself, starting with an interactive tour of the real app in the homepage hero.

A workday scrubber, live module cards and a Staffic AI demo follow, each linked to the live demo. Product screens are WebP captures of the redesigned app at 2x, and every page type is a template fed by the Website Suite CMS. The site ships as a static Next.js export on Cloudflare Pages.

Results

staffic.io is live with 173 pages in its sitemap, including 38 feature pages, 12 comparison pages and 52 docs pages. Its product screens show the app's October 2026 redesign.

What we built

Features We Built for Staffic.io

  • Interactive hero tour

The hero plays a tour of the real Staffic app on sample data: dashboard, live feed, screenshots, timesheets, payroll and Staffic AI. Visitors can pause it, jump between chapters or click any highlighted item.

  • Workday rewind scrubber

A timeline lets visitors drag through a real workday in the demo workspace. Each screenshot is filed under its time, task and activity level, the way managers see it in the app.

  • One-console module bento

Live cards for the feed, activity, timesheets, apps and URLs, attendance, payroll and project budgets show how 16 modules share one data layer. Each card links to its feature page.

  • Staffic AI and MCP demo

Tabs switch the same question between Staffic AI, Claude and Cursor, with answers drawn from a live workspace. Beside them, short notes explain read-only keys, organization locks and how to revoke access.

  • Team-size pricing calculator

A slider sets the team size and a toggle switches monthly and yearly billing, and the Free, Standard and Elite cards update their totals as visitors move it.

  • Competitor comparison pages

Twelve comparison pages put Staffic beside Hubstaff, Time Doctor, ActivTrak, Toggl and others. Their feature tables come from each company's own pricing page, with the date they were checked.

  • Free templates and calculators

Timesheet and attendance templates download as files, and the hours, decimal hours and time card calculators work right in the browser. Each one links to a free Staffic account.

  • CMS-driven page templates

Features, solutions, use cases, industries, comparisons, posts and docs are templates fed by the Website Suite CMS. The team adds a page by writing content instead of code.

FAQ

Questions About the Staffic.io Project

  • DeveloperLook designed and built the whole staffic.io marketing site. That includes the homepage with its interactive product tour, feature, solution and comparison pages, pricing and download pages, free templates and calculators, a blog and docs. Every page type is a template fed by the Website Suite CMS, and the site is exported as a static Next.js build.

  • The tour plays screens captured from the Staffic demo workspace at 2x, one module after another, with sample data and a caption for each. Visitors can pause it, step through the chapters or click a highlighted item to take control, and the hero links straight to the live demo.

  • Yes. Every section has its own phone layout. The header folds into a menu, the product tour switches to phone screens of the app, and cards stack into one column. The pricing slider, comparison table and FAQ all work by touch, and the gallery shows eight of these phone screens.

  • The site runs on Next.js, React and Tailwind CSS and is exported as static HTML for Cloudflare Pages. Page content comes from the Website Suite CMS at build time, and the product screens are WebP captures of the real app, recaptured after the October 2026 redesign.

  • A comparison table on the homepage and 12 comparison pages set Staffic beside tools such as Hubstaff, Time Doctor, ActivTrak and Toggl. Each table lists plans, screenshots, payroll, invoices and AI features from the competitors' own pricing pages, with the date they were checked.

  • Yes. We'd start from your product's real screens and the pages buyers look for: features, use cases, comparisons and pricing. Then we'd design the homepage around a tour of your app and build the site on Next.js with a CMS your team can edit. Contact us with your product and we'll suggest where to begin.
