About the project

Destinata Project Overview

DeveloperLook designed and developed Destinata, a limo booking website for luxury airport transfers and chauffeur services in Zurich and Geneva. Guests choose a vehicle, set pickup points on Google Maps, and pay securely through Stripe, in the language they prefer.

Destinata offers luxury limousine travel, from airport transfers in Zurich and Geneva to sightseeing, events, and concierge services. The project was a limo booking website that makes reserving a chauffeured car simple for clients and efficient for the service provider. Its core pieces are a booking system, multilingual support for international travelers, Stripe for secure payments, and Google Maps for choosing locations.

The homepage opens on a black SUV under the headline Luxury Zurich and Geneva Airport Transfers, with a booking form right on the hero. Guests choose between booking per kilometer and booking per hour, then enter the pickup location, drop-off location, date, and time. A luxury car fleet carousel follows, from the Mercedes S Class Maybach to the BMW X7. Services, popular Swiss destinations, a three-step booking explainer, testimonials, and a contact form complete the page.

Each vehicle has its own page with a photo gallery and a feature table for passengers, luggage, interior, and privacy. Long-form content below it covers chauffeur service in Zurich and Geneva. The booking flow summarizes the route, date, and selected car with its price per kilometer before a Stripe checkout. A blog covers airport transfers and journeys through Switzerland, and the brand extends to signage, business cards, a billboard, and social posts.

Challenge and solution

What Destinata Needed and How We Built It

The challenge

Clients struggled to book limo services because there was no intuitive, streamlined platform.

Language barriers made it hard for non-native speakers to navigate and book, and payment options were limited and lacked the security people expect online. Choosing and confirming pickup locations was also cumbersome without precise mapping tools.

Our solution

We built a booking experience with multilingual support, so travelers from different countries can book with confidence.

Stripe handles secure payments in multiple currencies, and Google Maps integration lets guests pick exact pickup and drop-off points. A short booking flow makes reservations easier for clients and helps Destinata reach a broader audience.

What we built

Features We Built for Destinata

  • Per-kilometer and hourly booking

The booking form switches between booking per kilometer and booking per hour. Guests enter the pickup and drop-off locations, date, and time, then check availability from the hero.

  • Google Maps location picker

Pickup and drop-off fields use Google Maps, so guests choose exact addresses instead of typing them by hand. The booking summary then shows the route and the trip distance.

  • Stripe checkout

Payment runs through a Stripe checkout with card details, wallet buttons, and an option to save details for one-click checkout. Prices show in Swiss francs, and Stripe supports multiple currencies.

  • Multilingual support

A language switch in the header lets travelers read and book in their own language. It removes a real barrier for international visitors arriving at the Zurich and Geneva airports.

  • Luxury fleet pages

A fleet carousel and vehicle pages present cars such as the Mercedes S Class Maybach, V Class, Sprinter, and BMW X7. Each shows photos, passengers, luggage, interior, and privacy features.

  • Services for every trip

Service pages cover airport transfers, standby service, sightseeing, shuttle service, events and weddings, and concierge services, each with its own photo and a path into booking.

  • Blog and destination guides

A blog and a destinations section share travel content, such as airport transfers in Zurich and a 5-day journey through Switzerland, giving travelers ideas for their next ride.

FAQ

Questions About the Destinata Project

  • A limo booking website for luxury airport transfers and chauffeur services in Zurich and Geneva. It includes a booking system with per-kilometer and hourly options, Google Maps location selection, Stripe payments, multilingual support, fleet and service pages, a blog, and a contact form. DeveloperLook handled the web design and development.

  • Guests pick booking per kilometer or per hour, then enter the pickup location, drop-off location, date, and time. They choose a vehicle from the fleet and review a summary with the route, date, and car. Payment then happens in a Stripe checkout, and the ride is booked.

  • Card payments and wallet options through Stripe. The checkout collects card details or a wallet payment, the cardholder name, and the country, and it can save details for one-click checkout next time. Stripe also supports multiple currencies, which suits travelers arriving from abroad.

  • With multilingual support and precise maps. A language switch in the header lets visitors use the site in their own language. Google Maps fields make it easy to choose a pickup point without knowing local addresses, and the booking summary stays clear at every step.

  • Yes. The design includes phone and tablet layouts for the homepage, fleet and vehicle pages, services, the booking steps, and the checkout. Guests can book a transfer from their phone, for example right after landing, with the same steps as on a laptop.
