About the project
DeveloperLook designed and built MediPulse, a healthcare app where patients find doctors, book appointments, and consult online. A hospital dashboard helps staff manage appointments, doctors, patients, and payments.
MediPulse is a healthcare app designed to make doctor appointments fast, simple, and accessible. Patients search for doctors, view specializations, book appointments, and join online consultations in one place. The goal was a secure, user-friendly app that improves the way patients connect with healthcare providers.
The home screen greets the patient by name, offers a quick way to make an appointment, and lists popular health articles. Search keeps recent queries and recently viewed doctors. Results filter by specialty and show each doctor's experience and starting price, and a map shows nearby doctors with their hospital, distance, and rating.
Booking takes a few steps: pick a day, choose a morning or afternoon slot, review the checkout, and pay. After a visit, patients rate the doctor and write a review. Chat and video calls connect them with their doctor, and a store sells medicines with checkout and order tracking on a map.
For hospital staff, a dashboard brings appointments, doctors, patients, departments, payments, and bed management into one view. The design runs to more than 33 pages.
Challenge and solution
The challenge
Patients wanted quick access to doctors without confusion, and doctors needed an organized way to manage schedules, appointments, and patient data. Sensitive medical information also had to stay secure and meet privacy requirements.
Our solution
Secure authentication and an encrypted database protected patient records. For doctors and hospital staff, we designed a dashboard to manage appointments, schedules, and patient history. Notifications and reminders kept patients informed about their visits.
What we built
Patients search by name or health need and filter results by specialty, such as tooth, ear, or lungs. Each result shows the doctor's experience and starting price, and recent searches stay one tap away.
A map view pins nearby doctors with their ratings. Each doctor card shows the hospital, distance, and patient count, with buttons to make an appointment or start a chat.
Patients choose a day, then a morning or afternoon time slot, and book. Checkout lists the service, date, time, price, and app fee, with a promo field before payment.
Patients message their doctor in a chat thread or join a video call with microphone, speaker, camera, and end call controls, so a consultation can happen from home.
The appointment history lists finished visits with a Rating button. Patients give the doctor stars and a written review, and reviews appear on the doctor's profile for other patients.
A store lists medicines by category with ratings and prices. Patients check out with a delivery address and card, then follow each order on a map from the shop to their door.
The dashboard shows bookings in month, week, or day views and as a list. Each appointment opens a detail panel with the patient, condition, time, assigned doctor, and complaints.
Staff see new appointments and patients, doctor and nurse counts, a calendar, and today's schedule. The sidebar leads to doctors, patients, departments, payments, and bed management.

Yes. The app includes a chat thread with the doctor and a video call screen with controls for the microphone, speaker, camera, and ending the call. Patients can talk to a doctor without a trip to the clinic, then rate the visit afterward.

Both shaped the design of the app and the hospital dashboard, from sign-in to the patient records that staff open.
Staff track new appointments and patients, see counts of doctors, nurses, and pharmacists, and plan the day with a calendar and schedule. They manage appointments in calendar or list views, keep a doctor directory, update patient records, record payments by invoice, and add meetings with selected doctors and nurses.
