About the project

Sir Kenneth Riley Project Overview

DeveloperLook designed and built the Sir Kenneth Riley artwork website, an online store where an independent artist shows and sells prints and paintings to buyers worldwide.

Sir Kenneth Riley is an independent artist who works in prints and paintings, and Sir, the artist's moniker, gives the brand its name. The goal was one website that shows the artwork, tells the artist's story, and sells pieces online. International buyers had to be able to order as easily as anyone else.

The home page opens with an Art For The Inspired hero and a Browse Collection button. A row of trust points follows (quality prints, an independent artist, worldwide shipping, and a satisfaction pledge). Below sit a Best Sellers carousel and large tiles for Prints and Paintings.

Each product page pairs a photo gallery with style and size choices, a delivery estimate, and short sections on the product, shipping, and the artist. The About Me page carries A Note From Sir, a personal message beside a portrait photo, and explains the Sir moniker. An Original Artwork section notes that each piece is hand painted, then professionally scanned for print.

The store side covers a slide-out cart, a checkout with several payment options and discount codes, customer accounts, and a newsletter. Every page has phone and tablet layouts. The brand uses a brush-lettered Sir logo in black and white, shown on a shipping box, a storefront sign, a billboard, and social posts.

Challenge and solution

What Sir Kenneth Riley Needed and How We Built It

The challenge

Sir Kenneth Riley needed a website that carried the character of the art while keeping the interface clean and modern.

The pieces are bold, layered, and full of color, so the design around them had to stay quiet. Buying also had to be simple for collectors abroad, which made an easy ecommerce system essential.

Our solution

We designed a minimal black and white website that puts the artwork at center stage and keeps navigation short.

The Artwork menu, predictive search, and clear product pages help buyers find a piece and choose its style and size. Behind them sits an ecommerce system with several payment options, discount codes, and order tracking, with international shipping noted on every product page.

What we built

Features We Built for Sir Kenneth Riley

  • Artwork catalog and carousels

The Artwork menu opens grids of framed prints and paintings with titles, prices, and wishlist hearts. The home page adds a Best Sellers carousel, and product pages end with a You May Also Like row.

  • Style and size options

Buyers pick an Unframed or Canvas style and one of 4 sizes, from 12 x 16 to 24 x 36. Each product page also shows an estimated delivery window and a sticky Add to cart bar.

  • Slide-out shopping cart

A cart drawer opens beside the page with each piece's style, size, and quantity controls. Buyers can remove items, add a coupon, check the subtotal, and go to checkout or the full cart page.

  • Checkout and payment options

Checkout takes major credit cards and Shop Pay, which lets buyers pay in full or in installments. A discount code field, an option to save details, and an order summary with shipping sit alongside.

  • Predictive product search

As a visitor types, the search panel suggests terms and lists matching artworks with thumbnails and prices. It also surfaces pages such as About Sir, Product Query, and the Refund Policy.

  • Customer accounts and wishlist

Returning buyers sign in, and new customers register for early sale access and news on new arrivals. The My Account area holds a dashboard, saved addresses, and a wishlist of favorite pieces.

  • Newsletter and contact form

A Stay Inspired signup keeps fans posted on print releases and sales. A contact form asks for name, email, phone, and the buyer's interest, plus how they heard about Sir.

  • Sir brand identity

The brush-lettered Sir logo runs in black and white across the site header and footer. The same mark appears on a shipping box, a storefront sign, a canvas art billboard, and social posts.

FAQ

Questions About the Sir Kenneth Riley Project

  • An ecommerce website for the artist's prints and paintings. It covers the home page, the artwork catalog, product pages with style and size options, a slide-out cart, checkout, customer accounts, predictive search, and an About Me page. The project also shows the Sir logo applied to a shipping box, a storefront sign, a billboard, and social posts.

  • On each product page. Buyers pick a style (Unframed or Canvas) and a size from 12 x 16 up to 24 x 36, then add the piece to the cart. A photo gallery, a product description, shipping information, and an About Sir section sit on the same page. A You May Also Like row then suggests related pieces.

  • Checkout accepts major credit cards and Shop Pay, which lets buyers pay in full or in installments. Product pages mention the installment option near the price. Buyers can apply a coupon in the cart or enter a discount code at checkout. The store also supports order tracking, and every product page notes international shipping.

  • Through an About Me page and short notes across the store. The About Me page holds A Note From Sir, a personal message beside a portrait photo, and explains that Sir is the artist's moniker. Product pages include an About Sir section. An Original Artwork section explains that each piece is hand painted, then professionally scanned for print.

  • Yes. The home page, catalog, product pages, cart, checkout, account area, and About Me page all have phone layouts. On a phone, the menu folds into a header icon, and product photos sit in a gallery with a zoom button. Add to cart stays close to the style and size choices. Tablet layouts were designed as well.

  • Yes. DeveloperLook designs and builds online stores for artists and galleries, with catalogs, style and size options, carts, checkout, and customer accounts. We can add an artist story page, a newsletter, and international shipping details. We start with how your buyers browse and pay, then design each page so the artwork stays in front.
