About the project

Unicom Project Overview

DeveloperLook designed and built the Unicom mobile app and admin dashboard for a clothing ecommerce brand. Shoppers browse and buy apparel in the app, while store owners manage inventory and track sales.

Unicom is a clothing ecommerce platform with 2 parts: a mobile shopping app and an admin dashboard. The client wanted to blend fashion with function. Shoppers needed to explore, customize, and buy apparel in a few taps. Store owners needed to manage inventory, track sales, and read performance in real time.

The app opens on a home feed with search, a sale banner, and a Popular Item row. Category tabs such as Fashion, Sport, and Lifestyle filter the feed. Store pages group products into Tops, Outerwear, Shirt and Blouse, Knitwear, and Jeans, with a Follow button and a reviews tab. Product pages show the item photos, sizes from S to XXL, a color choice, and a quantity stepper. A cart, checkout, notifications, store chat, and a profile screen complete the flow.

The admin dashboard covers the store side, from revenue and order counts to the product list, categories, customers, campaigns, and messages.

One brand system ties both parts together: the Manrope typeface, a palette of greens and grey, and the Unicom logo. The logo also carries onto social posts, a billboard, and shop signage. The work ran in 5 phases: research, structure and concept, UI/UX design and development preparation, mobile app development, and testing with post-release support.

Challenge and solution

What Unicom Needed and How We Built It

The challenge

Unicom needed a shopping app and an admin dashboard that both felt premium, fast, and intuitive.

The app had to show clothing at its best while keeping navigation easy and checkout quick on every screen size. On the store side, owners needed clear sales data and control of the store in a clean, simple dashboard.

Our solution

DeveloperLook designed and built a fashion-focused app with smooth browsing, smart filters, and a secure checkout.

We matched the product grids, typography, and colors to Unicom's modern brand, set in Manrope with a green palette. For administrators, we built a dashboard to manage products, categories, orders, and customer data. We kept its layout minimal, yet it still put revenue, order, and customer figures in view at a glance.

What we built

Features We Built for Unicom

  • Home feed with promos

The home screen pairs product search with a sale banner, a Popular Item row, and category tabs. Product cards show star ratings, discount badges, old and new prices, and a heart to save items.

  • Store pages and reviews

Each store has its own page with a follower count and a Follow button. Products sit in visual categories such as Tops, Outerwear, and Jeans, and a reviews tab lists star ratings with photos.

  • Product details with sizing

Product pages show a large photo with thumbnails, the store name, and the price. Shoppers pick a size from S to XXL, choose a color, and set the quantity before adding to the cart.

  • Cart with voucher codes

The cart lists each item with its size, color, and a quantity stepper. A voucher field applies a discount code, and the summary splits the total into subtotal, voucher, and delivery fee.

  • Checkout and saved details

Checkout gathers the shipping address, payment method, and delivery carrier on one screen. Shoppers keep several addresses and payment cards on file and mark one of each as their default.

  • Order updates and store chat

Notifications cover each order step, from payment success to shipped and delivered, plus review requests. A chat screen lets shoppers message a store, which can reply with product photos.

  • Admin sales dashboard

The Unicom dashboard opens on revenue, orders, customers, and product totals with daily changes. A revenue chart splits sales by website, ecommerce, and offline store, next to an income target gauge.

  • Product and order management

Admins add products through a form, review a product list with performance charts, and open full product pages. Separate screens handle product categories, the order list, and customer messages.

FAQ

Questions About the Unicom Project

  • DeveloperLook designed and built Unicom's fashion ecommerce platform in 2 parts. The first is a mobile shopping app where customers browse, filter, and buy clothing. The second is an admin dashboard where the store team manages products, categories, orders, and customer data. Both parts share one brand system, set in the Manrope typeface with a green palette.

  • Checkout in the Unicom app fits on a single screen after the cart. Shoppers confirm a shipping address, pick a saved payment card, and choose a delivery carrier, then tap Submit Order. Before that, the cart applies voucher codes and shows the subtotal, discount, delivery fee, and total cost.

  • Unicom serves 2 groups. Shoppers use the mobile app to find clothing, follow stores, save items to a wishlist, and track their orders. Store owners and admins use the dashboard to keep the catalog current, process orders, and watch revenue, customers, and sales targets in real time.

  • The Unicom dashboard opens on 4 summary cards: revenue, orders, customers, and products, each with its daily change. Below them, a revenue chart splits sales by source (website, ecommerce, and offline store), and a gauge tracks progress toward an income target. Side menus lead to orders, the product list, product categories, customers, campaigns, and messages.

  • The Unicom shopping app is designed for phones, with a bottom bar for Home, cart, messages, and profile. The admin dashboard uses a desktop layout with a sidebar menu and wide charts, made for store teams on larger screens. Responsive design was part of the brief for both parts.

  • Yes. DeveloperLook can plan a shopping app and its admin dashboard as one project, the way we did for Unicom. We'd follow the same 5 phases: research, structure and concept, UI/UX design, app development, and testing with support after release. Your catalog, store setup, and checkout needs decide which screens you get, from store pages and vouchers to chat and campaign tools.
