Search Console query review
The queries you already show up for, including the ones stuck on page two that need a nudge.

The Problem
Most sites pick topics from hunches, a tool's top-volume list, or whatever a competitor just published. The result is pages that chase the same search, and buying searches nobody targets.
Raw exports
Tool exports list thousands of keywords in no useful order.
Raw exports
We cut the list to searches that fit your offer and score each one.
Overlap
Two of your pages chase the same search.
Overlap
Each keyword group gets one owner page, and the other page targets something else.
Wrong intent
Blog posts win readers who aren't looking to buy.
Wrong intent
Intent labels show which searches come from buyers and which from researchers.
Missed gaps
Competitors rank for buying searches you haven't covered.
Missed gaps
We list each gap and suggest the page that should fill it.
You've got 3,000 keywords exported from a tool, sorted by volume, and no idea what to do with them. Your blog chases big informational terms that bring readers but not buyers. Two of your service pages target the same phrase, so Google keeps swapping them. Meanwhile, the searches that lead to sales, the ones with words like price, cost, or for small business in them, have no page at all.
We start with the searches you already appear for in Search Console, then widen out with Semrush and your top competitors. Every keyword gets an intent label, a difficulty check, and a business value score. Then each group is assigned to exactly one page, existing or planned, so nothing overlaps. Your writers get a map of what to improve and what to build, instead of a 3,000-row export.
One owner per keyword
Each search is assigned to a single page, so your own pages stop competing for it.
Scored by business value
Intent and value count alongside volume, so buying searches rise to the top of the list.
Starts with your own data
Search Console shows the queries you almost rank for, which are often the fastest wins.
Our Keyword Research Process
You agree on goals and seed topics first, then review the scored list and the map in a shared sheet before anything gets written or changed.
We talk through what you sell, who buys it, and which pages matter most. You get a fixed price, the number of pages we'll map, and the competitors we'll study.
What's Included
Every plan turns raw search data into decisions: which searches matter, which page owns each one, and which pages you still need to build.
Compare Options
A keyword tool gives you data fast, and a freelancer can research a small site well. Here's how each compares with full keyword research and competitor analysis.
| Feature | DeveloperLookBest fit | Keyword Tool | Freelancer |
|---|---|---|---|
| Data sources | Search Console, Semrush, and rivals | The tool's own database | Usually one paid tool |
| Intent labels | Every keyword labeled | Basic intent tags | Depends on the person |
| Business value | Scored against your offer | Not included | Sometimes included |
| Overlap check | One page per keyword group | Not included | Rarely checked |
| Competitor gaps | 3 rivals from Keyword Map up | Available if you know how | Often one or two rivals |
| Page plan | Existing and new pages mapped | Not included | Varies by person |
| Speed | 1 to 3 weeks by page count | Data in minutes | 1 to 2 weeks typical |
| Cost | Fixed price from $350 | Monthly subscription | Often cheaper for small sites |
Projects We've Built
These are websites we designed and built in crowded markets such as fashion, finance, and real estate. A keyword map decides which pages sites like these need.

What Our Clients Say
Feedback from teams we have built and improved websites for.
We had a pretty specific idea of what we wanted our website to become, but I wasn’t sure how easily we could explain all of it to a development team. There were quite a few moving parts, and we were working toward a deadline, so I expected a few things to get lost along the way. That never really happened. They understood what we were trying to achieve, kept us updated throughout the process, and got everything ready within the agreed timeline. The final site feels much easier to navigate, works beautifully on mobile, and is noticeably smoother for our customers. It was a huge relief seeing the original idea actually turn into the website we had in mind.
The mobile experience is probably my favourite part of the new site. We had spent a lot of time making sure the desktop version looked right, and the team kept pushing us to think about how everything would actually feel on a phone too. They were right. The navigation is clean, the interactions feel natural, and everything we’ve tested so far works exactly as it should. They also went through the links, forms, integrations, and other details more than once before launch, which I really appreciated. And even after going live, we could still reach out when something came up. The whole process felt friendly, organised, and surprisingly straightforward.
What I appreciate most is that the website is actually easy for us to manage now. We can update content ourselves instead of sending a developer a message every time we need to change something small. They also paid attention to the technical SEO side, which mattered to us because we didn’t want a new website to create problems for the traffic we already had. I’ve probably asked more questions than I should have since launch, but every question has been handled patiently and without any fuss. The team is easy to work with, they explain things clearly, and when we need something changed, they focus on getting it done rather than making the process complicated.

Work Culture
We pick keywords the way a buyer searches and a developer builds, so the map turns into real pages instead of sitting in a shared drive.
We assign every keyword group to a single page, the same rule we follow on our own site. It stops your pages from splitting clicks between them.
A small search from ready buyers can beat a huge one from students. We score each keyword against what you actually sell.
Search Console shows what Google already connects with your site. We start there before reaching for third-party estimates, which often miss small niches.
Some searches are dominated by huge sites, and we say so plainly. We point you to versions you can win instead of a fight you can't fund.
Each mapped page has a main keyword, supporting phrases, and the questions to answer. Your writer knows what to do the day the map arrives.
You keep the full sheet, the raw data, and the call recording. Use them with your own team, another agency, or us.
Overview
DeveloperLook provides keyword research services that end in a keyword map, not a raw export. We pull Semrush data, your Search Console queries, and competitor gaps, score every keyword by intent and value, and assign each to one page. Projects start at $350 and take 1 to 3 weeks, using the same method we run on our own site.

Projects start at $350 for up to 10 pages and 150 keywords. The Keyword Map plan costs $700 for up to 40 pages, with competitor research on 3 rivals. Keyword Strategy costs $1,050 for up to 100 pages and adds topic clusters, 5 page briefs, and a 90-day plan. Bigger sites get a fixed quote after the free call.
Most keyword maps take 1 to 3 weeks. Small sites with up to 10 pages usually take about a week. Mapping 40 pages with competitor research takes about 2 weeks, and 100 pages takes up to 3 weeks. Work begins the day you give us read-only Search Console access.
It's finding the words and phrases people type into search engines, then judging which ones are worth targeting. It tells you what customers call your product, what they want to know, and how many people ask. Done well, it shapes which pages a site has and what each one says.
In SEO, it's the step that decides which searches each page should try to rank for. It comes before writing and on-page work, because a page built for the wrong search rarely recovers. It also sets priorities: which pages to improve first and which new pages to build.
Research collects the keywords, and analysis judges them. Collecting means pulling terms from Search Console, Semrush, and competitors. Analysis means labeling intent, checking difficulty, scoring business value, and grouping terms that share a results page. Cheap reports often stop at collecting, which is why they arrive as long, unsorted exports.
It's research aimed at organic rankings, which differs from research for paid ads. Ad research weighs cost per click and ad competition. Organic research weighs ranking difficulty, search intent, and what Google already shows, such as videos, maps, or product listings, because those decide what kind of page can win.
Turn it into a map, then act on it page by page. Give each keyword group one page, update the pages that already rank near the top, and write briefs for the new pages you need. After publishing, track Search Console clicks for each mapped page and revisit the map every 6 to 12 months.
Yes, from the Keyword Map plan up. Competitor keyword research covers up to 3 rivals you choose, showing the searches they rank for that you don't and the pages driving their traffic. We filter that list to searches that fit your offer, so you don't chase topics that bring the wrong visitors.
We group keywords by the results Google shows, then give each group exactly one owner page. If two of your pages already compete, the map says which one keeps the group and what the other should target instead. It's the same one-keyword, one-page rule we use on our own site.
We use Semrush for keyword data and competitor rankings. Google Search Console shows the queries you already appear for, and GA4 shows which pages convert. Everything lands in Google Sheets, with Looker Studio for reporting if you want it. You don't need to pay for any tools of your own.
