About the project

Carepoint Project Overview

DeveloperLook designed and built Carepoint, a medical app where patients find doctors, book appointments, consult online, and keep medical records. A hospital dashboard of more than 37 pages serves the staff.

Carepoint is a doctor appointment booking and consultation app built to make healthcare easier to reach. Patients use it to find doctors, book appointments, consult online, and manage their medical records in one place. The project set out to close the gap between patients and healthcare professionals with clear design and dependable features.

The home screen opens on Meet a Doctor, with a search bar, specialty shortcuts such as neurology and cardiology, nearby doctors, and top doctors. A filter screen narrows the results by category, gender, price range, rating, and capacity. Each doctor profile shows experience and ratings, the practice address on a map, and buttons to chat or make an appointment.

Onboarding asks patients how they identify, their weight, and what they like, so the app can set up recommendations. Inside, patients track daily activity and meals, review a medical record of past consultations, join video calls with their doctor, and pay by card.

For the clinical side, Carepoint has a hospital dashboard for patients, appointments, departments, payments, reports, and product stock. The dashboard design runs to more than 37 pages, and the whole product uses the Manrope typeface and a palette of greens.

Challenge and solution

What Carepoint Needed and How We Built It

The challenge

Carepoint needed a booking system that was easy to use and still trustworthy and accurate.

Patients had to find the right doctor quickly, with verified details on specialty, experience, and availability. Behind the app, bookings had to update in real time, doctor schedules needed managing, and patient data had to stay private and secure.

Our solution

We designed and built a clean, patient-friendly mobile app focused on clarity.

Patients search, filter, and schedule an appointment in a few taps, and teleconsultation lets them see a doctor by video. We also built a dashboard that helps healthcare professionals manage their appointments, patient interactions, and availability.

What we built

Features We Built for Carepoint

  • Doctor search and filters

Patients search by name or specialty, then filter doctors by category, gender, price range, rating, and capacity, so the list narrows to the right specialist quickly.

  • Detailed doctor profiles

Each profile shows the doctor's specialty, experience, patient count, and rating, with About, Address, and Ratings tabs, the practice location on a map, and a chat button.

  • Booking in a few taps

Patients pick a date and an open time slot on the doctor's profile and confirm with the Make Appointment button. When no slot fits, they can request a custom schedule instead.

  • Visit history and rebooking

A schedule screen sorts visits into Upcoming, Complete, and Result tabs. Patients rebook a doctor they've seen before or add a review straight from a completed visit.

  • Video consultations and chat

Teleconsultation lets patients meet their doctor on a video call from the app. A chat list keeps conversations with doctors in one place for questions before or after a visit.

  • Health tracking and records

Onboarding collects gender, weight, and interests such as food to set up recommendations. Patients then track daily activity and meals and review a medical record of past consultations by month.

  • Clinic maps and directions

A map view lists nearby clinics with their ratings. The Get Location screen draws a route to the chosen practice, so patients can find their way to an in-person visit.

  • Hospital management dashboard

A web dashboard of more than 37 pages brings patients, appointments in calendar and list views, departments and staff, payments, reports, and product stock into one place.

FAQ

Questions About the Carepoint Project

  • A patient app and a hospital dashboard. In the app, patients find doctors, book appointments, consult by video, track their health, and keep a medical record of past visits. The web dashboard gives staff tools for patients, appointments, departments, payments, reports, and stock, across a design of more than 37 pages.

  • From the doctor's profile. Patients choose a date from a row of days, tap an open time slot, and confirm with Make Appointment. If none of the listed times work, they can request a custom schedule. Booked visits then appear on the appointment calendar, and completed ones can be rebooked or reviewed later.

  • With search, specialty shortcuts, and filters. The home screen lists nearby and top doctors, and the filter screen narrows them by category, gender, price range, rating, and capacity. Each profile then shows the doctor's specialty, experience, ratings, and practice address, so patients can compare doctors before they book.

  • Yes. We added teleconsultation features, so the app includes video calls between patient and doctor, plus a chat list for messages. Patients can also start a chat from a doctor's profile. Online visits sit alongside in-person ones, and the map screens give directions when a patient needs to visit the practice.

  • An overview of visitors, patients, surgeries, and rooms, plus pages for patients, appointments, departments, payments, reports, and product stock. Appointments show in a color-coded calendar with quick search and a New Appointment button, or in a list with Success, Pending, and Progress labels. The design runs to more than 37 pages, with a dark mode switch.

  • Yes. DeveloperLook designs and builds doctor booking apps with search and filters, scheduling, video consultations, health records, and a dashboard for your staff. We first map how patients get from search to a booked visit at your clinic, then shape the app and staff dashboard to fit.
