About the project

Wayhouse Project Overview

DeveloperLook designed and built Wayhouse, a real estate mobile app where people buy, rent, or sell property from one search. Users explore 360-degree views, tour homes in person or over video chat, and pay through an in-app checkout.

Wayhouse is a mobile app that makes property search simpler for buyers, renters, and sellers. The goal was a visually appealing, intuitive interface that lets people discover, view, and ask about properties quickly and with confidence. The style had to feel modern while keeping trust and professionalism.

One search covers buying, renting, and selling, with property type chips to narrow it and results on a map or as listing cards. Property pages show the price, facility highlights, and a gallery, and a 360-degree view lets users look around the inside of a home. Tours run in person or over video chat with the owner, scheduled in the app and confirmed on screen.

Sellers list a property by uploading photos from the Sell Property screen. Messages, recent views, viewing alerts, payment methods, and profile settings round out the app. A dashboard gives the Wayhouse team rentals, sales, customers, revenue, and agents in one place.

Challenge and solution

What Wayhouse Needed and How We Built It

The challenge

Wayhouse needed to show rich property data in a clean interface.

Its users ranged from casual browsers to serious buyers, so the app had to stay easy to navigate for both. Location-based search and filters also had to fit in without overwhelming anyone.

Our solution

We designed a minimal, card-based layout with clean type, smart icons, and a calming palette.

One search switches between buy, rent, and sell, with results on a list or a map. Listings add 360-degree views and facility highlights, and tours run in person or over video chat with the owner. Sellers upload photos to list a property, and a dashboard tracks rentals, sales, customers, and transactions.

What we built

Features We Built for Wayhouse

  • Buy, rent, and sell tabs

One search switches between buying, renting, and selling, and property type chips narrow the results shown on a map or as listing cards.

  • 360-degree views

Users look around the inside of a home in a 360-degree view, and recent views keep the homes they opened in a list they can return to.

  • Video chat tours

Tours run in person or over a video call with the owner, booked through a scheduling screen and confirmed in the app.

  • Sell with a photo upload

Sellers list a property from the Sell Property screen by uploading photos, so buyers and renters see it in the same search.

  • In-app checkout

Users choose a payment method and complete their order inside the app, ending on an order confirmation screen that shows it went through.

  • Rentals and sales dashboard

A dashboard gives the Wayhouse team a view of rentals, sales, customers, revenue, and agents, alongside the transactions that come through the app.

FAQ

Questions About the Wayhouse Project

  • A real estate mobile app for buying, renting, and selling, plus a dashboard for the Wayhouse team. The app offers one search with map results, 360-degree views, tours in person or over video chat, photo uploads for sellers, and an in-app checkout. The dashboard tracks rentals, sales, customers, and revenue.

  • Yes. When scheduling a tour, users choose an in-person visit or a video chat with the owner. The video call runs inside the app, and an order confirmation screen confirms the booking. Follow-up questions go through the in-app messages, so the whole conversation stays in one place.

  • From the Sell Property screen. Sellers upload photos of the property and add it to the app, where it appears in the same search that buyers and renters use. Buyers can then schedule a tour of it, in person or over video chat.

  • One search covers buying, renting, and selling, switched with tabs. Property type chips narrow the results, which show on a map or as listing cards. Tapping a card opens a property page showing the price, facility highlights, a gallery, and a 360-degree view.

  • Anyone looking to buy, rent, or sell property, from casual browsers to serious buyers. The card-based layout keeps rich property data clean and easy to scan, and the calming color palette and clear icons help the app feel modern and trustworthy.

  • Yes. DeveloperLook designs and builds real estate apps that combine buying, renting, and selling in one search, with virtual views, video tours, payments, and a dashboard for the team. We start from the journeys your users follow on a phone and design each screen around them.
