The Problem
It shows up next to a competitor. Their logo sits in the Gmail inbox, yours shows a grey initial, and your designer can't work out why the SVG was rejected.
Ignored record
A BIMI record went live, but no logo appeared.
Ignored record
We check each requirement, starting with DMARC, so the record has something to stand on.
Wrong SVG
Your designer's SVG fails the SVG Tiny PS profile.
Wrong SVG
We rebuild the logo in the Tiny PS profile and validate it before publishing.
Weak policy
Your DMARC policy sits at p=none, which BIMI ignores.
Weak policy
Your senders get aligned, and the policy moves to quarantine or reject first.
Certificate confusion
Nobody knows whether you need a VMC or a CMC.
Certificate confusion
We check your trademark status and walk you through the right certificate application.
Your marketing team saw a competitor's logo, with a blue checkmark, beside their emails in Gmail. Yours shows a grey letter. Someone added a BIMI record last quarter, but nothing changed. The logo is a normal SVG exported from your design tool, so it fails the SVG Tiny PS profile. Your DMARC policy is still p=none, which BIMI ignores. And nobody is sure whether you need a Verified Mark Certificate, a Common Mark Certificate, or a trademark first.
We start with the requirements Gmail and the other providers publish, checked one by one against your domain. DMARC moves to quarantine or reject, your logo is rebuilt as a square SVG Tiny PS file, and we help you choose between a VMC and a CMC. Then the BIMI record goes live, pointing to your logo and certificate. You end up with a setup that meets the published rules, not a record nothing reads.
DMARC enforcement first
BIMI needs quarantine or reject, so we get your domain there before anything else.
Logo rebuilt to spec
Your logo redrawn as a square SVG Tiny PS file that mailbox providers accept.
VMC or CMC, chosen honestly
Your trademark status decides the certificate, and we tell you which one you qualify for.
Our BIMI Setup Services Process
You see which requirements you meet on day one, approve the logo file, and sign the certificate application yourself. We publish the record only when every piece is in place.
We check your DMARC policy, sending tools, logo files, and trademark status against the published BIMI requirements. You get a fixed price and a list of gaps. If your domain only needs the record and a logo file, we'll tell you before we quote.
What's Included
A domain at DMARC enforcement, a logo file that passes validation, help with the certificate, a published record, and display checks in the mail apps that support it.
Compare Options
Certificate sellers handle the VMC paperwork well, and an in-house designer can draw the logo. The missing piece is usually DMARC enforcement and checking every requirement together.
| Feature | DeveloperLookBest fit | Certificate seller | In-house designer |
|---|---|---|---|
| DMARC enforcement | Reached before launch | Your job first | Outside their scope |
| SVG Tiny PS file | Rebuilt and validated | Sometimes offered | Possible with guidance |
| Certificate application | Documents prepared, you sign | Their core service | Not their area |
| Sender alignment | Every sender checked | Not included | Not included |
| The DNS record | Published and tag-checked | Instructions provided | Rarely handled |
| Display checks | Gmail, Yahoo, and Apple Mail | Basic validation | Visual review only |
| Brand eye | Faithful to your artwork | Varies by seller | Strong brand judgment |
| Price predictability | Fixed, certificate billed separately | Certificate price, setup extra | Internal time |
Projects We've Built
These are store builds for fashion, beauty, and furniture brands, not BIMI projects. Brands like these send order and promo email where customers look for the sender first.

What Our Clients Say
Feedback from teams we have built apps, platforms, and websites for.
We had a pretty specific idea of what we wanted our website to become, but I wasnโt sure how easily we could explain all of it to a development team. There were quite a few moving parts, and we were working toward a deadline, so I expected a few things to get lost along the way. That never really happened. They understood what we were trying to achieve, kept us updated throughout the process, and got everything ready within the agreed timeline. The final site feels much easier to navigate, works beautifully on mobile, and is noticeably smoother for our customers. It was a huge relief seeing the original idea actually turn into the website we had in mind.
The mobile experience is probably my favourite part of the new site. We had spent a lot of time making sure the desktop version looked right, and the team kept pushing us to think about how everything would actually feel on a phone too. They were right. The navigation is clean, the interactions feel natural, and everything weโve tested so far works exactly as it should. They also went through the links, forms, integrations, and other details more than once before launch, which I really appreciated. And even after going live, we could still reach out when something came up. The whole process felt friendly, organised, and surprisingly straightforward.
What I appreciate most is that the website is actually easy for us to manage now. We can update content ourselves instead of sending a developer a message every time we need to change something small. They also paid attention to the technical SEO side, which mattered to us because we didnโt want a new website to create problems for the traffic we already had. Iโve probably asked more questions than I should have since launch, but every question has been handled patiently and without any fuss. The team is easy to work with, they explain things clearly, and when we need something changed, they focus on getting it done rather than making the process complicated.

Work Culture
BIMI mixes brand files, DNS, and legal paperwork, so we keep each piece honest and visible. These habits stop you paying for a certificate before the domain is ready.
We get DMARC to enforcement before you buy any certificate. A certificate can't show your logo while the policy still sits at p=none.
A VMC needs a registered trademark that matches your logo. We check the registration before anyone pays, so the application doesn't stall halfway.
Each mail provider decides when to show a logo, so we promise the setup, not the display. You see which providers support BIMI today.
We convert your approved artwork without redesigning it. Your brand team approves the SVG before it goes anywhere near DNS.
Certificate fees go straight to the certificate authority in your company's name. We don't mark them up or hold the certificate for you.
You get screenshots from Gmail, Yahoo, and Apple Mail after launch. Marketing sees the result in a real inbox, not just a passing validator.
Overview
DeveloperLook sets up BIMI email for brands that want their logo shown next to their messages. We move DMARC to enforcement, rebuild your logo as an SVG Tiny PS file, prepare your VMC or CMC application, and publish the record. Setup starts at $450 and takes 2 to 4 weeks at enforcement, and certificate fees go straight to the authority.

Good fit
Ecommerce brands sending promo email
Your store sends campaigns every week from Klaviyo, and you want your logo, not a grey letter, beside them in Gmail.
Brands with a registered trademark
Your logo is a registered trademark, and you want the VMC for BIMI that brings Gmail's checkmark next to your name.
Companies without a trademark yet
Your logo isn't registered as a trademark, so you need to know whether a CMC gets your logo shown in Gmail.
Marketing teams whose record did nothing
Your team published a BIMI record months ago, no logo shows, and you need to know which requirement is missing.
Agencies running client email
You manage email programs for client brands and want BIMI set up under your agency's name, one brand at a time.
Not a fit
Many senders still failing
Your domain has many senders failing DMARC and no policy yet. Start with DMARC Setup Services, then add the logo once you're at enforcement.
Your readers use Outlook
Most of your recipients read mail in Outlook. Microsoft isn't on the BIMI Group's list of supporting providers, so they won't see the logo yet.
Spoofing is the real problem
Someone is sending fake mail as you. A logo won't stop that, so start with DMARC Setup Services or Email Security Services.
Budget under $450
You have less than $450 and your domain is already at enforcement. The BIMI Group's own guides and your certificate seller's checklist cover a simple setup.

Pricing
These are starting points in USD. Your final price depends on your DMARC status, your sender count, and how many brands you run, and you get a fixed proposal after a free readiness check. Certificate fees go to the authority, not to us.
For Agencies
You own the client relationship. We supply the BIMI engineering: DMARC enforcement, the SVG Tiny PS file, certificate paperwork, and the record, all under your brand. Your client sees their logo arrive, and you keep the credit.
White label: your client only ever sees your brand
Send the client domain, the logo artwork, and trademark details if they have them.
We fix DMARC, build the logo file, and prepare certificate documents under your brand.
The record goes live, screenshots come back, and you present the result.

The Right Technology for Your Project
BIMI depends on DNS, DMARC, a strict logo format, and a certificate, so the stack covers each piece plus the inboxes where logos appear.

BIMI setup starts at $450 for a domain already at DMARC enforcement, including the logo file, the record, and certificate help. Adding the DMARC rollout for up to 5 senders costs $950, and up to 3 brands start at $1,850. The BIMI certificate cost is separate: you pay the certificate authority directly at its own price, and we don't mark it up.
A BIMI email rollout on a domain already at DMARC enforcement takes 2 to 4 weeks, mostly waiting on the certificate authority's checks. If DMARC still needs work, plan on 6 to 10 weeks, because the policy has to reach quarantine or reject first. Logo display can lag after launch, since each provider decides when to start showing it.
BIMI, short for Brand Indicators for Message Identification, is a standard that lets your logo appear beside your messages in supporting inboxes. It builds on DMARC: receivers show the logo only for mail that passes DMARC under an enforcement policy. Gmail also requires a VMC or CMC certificate before it will show any logo.
Get DMARC to quarantine or reject first, then prepare a square SVG Tiny PS logo and, for Gmail, a VMC or CMC. Host both files over HTTPS, then publish the record that points to them. Gmail requires pct=100 on the DMARC policy, so a partial rollout won't qualify.
You add it in DNS, not in Outlook or Gmail settings, because BIMI is published for your whole domain. Every platform that sends as you, from Microsoft 365 to Klaviyo, then has to pass DMARC for the logo to appear on its mail. Marketing platforms usually need their own DKIM signing with your domain for that.
Apply to a certificate authority on the BIMI Group's list of mark certificate issuers. A VMC needs a registered trademark that matches your logo, plus identity checks on your company. A CMC is for logos that aren't trademarked, and issuers ask for evidence of public use. You sign the application, and we prepare the documents.
Publish a TXT record at default._bimi on your domain. Its value starts with v=BIMI1, then an l= tag for your SVG logo and an a= tag for the certificate's PEM file. Both links must use HTTPS. Without a certificate the a= tag stays empty, which a few providers accept and Gmail doesn't.
No. Microsoft isn't on the BIMI Group's list of supporting providers, so Outlook.com and Microsoft 365 mailboxes don't show BIMI logos today. Your DMARC enforcement still protects mail sent to Outlook users, so the groundwork isn't wasted. If most of your list reads mail in Outlook, weigh that before buying a certificate.
Yes, Apple is on the BIMI Group's list of supporting providers, and Apple Mail shows logos for senders with a Verified Mark Certificate. If you only qualify for a CMC, plan on Gmail showing your logo and test Apple Mail separately. We include Apple Mail in the display checks either way.
In Gmail, a verified sender is one whose logo comes with a VMC, which adds a checkmark next to the sender name. Gmail shows the logo without that checkmark when the certificate is a CMC. Either way, the checkmark confirms the logo was verified, not that the content of the email is safe.
