How your project runs
Teams we have built for:

The Problem
It starts after hours. A patient books online at 10 pm, and the request waits in an email until someone retypes it the next morning.
01 · Inbox requests
A late-night booking request lands in an inbox.
Bookings run through Patient Engage, Dentrix Ascend, or an authorized vendor, not email.
02 · Lost slots
The requested slot goes to a phone booking before anyone calls back.
Online visits land straight in the Appointment Book, flagged for your team.
03 · Clipboard history
Medical history arrives on a clipboard and gets typed in again.
New patients complete forms on their phones, with ID and insurance card uploads.
04 · Unapproved syncs
A vendor pitches a quick sync that isn't on the authorized list.
Nothing writes to Dentrix outside an approved path.
A new patient fills out your website form at 10 pm and picks a Tuesday cleaning. The request lands in an inbox. Next morning, your front desk retypes it into Dentrix, calls to confirm, and finds the slot went to a phone booking. The medical history arrives later on a clipboard and gets typed in again by hand. Meanwhile, a vendor pitches a quick sync that isn't on Henry Schein One's authorized list.
We start with your Dentrix version and the tools you already pay for. Bookings run through Patient Engage, Dentrix Ascend, or an authorized API Exchange vendor, so they land in the Appointment Book flagged as online bookings. Intake forms reach the patient record before the visit. Your team confirms instead of retyping, and nothing writes to Dentrix outside an approved path.
Bookings in the Appointment Book
Online visits land in your schedule, flagged as online bookings, not in an email inbox.
Forms that reach the record
New patients complete forms on their phones, with ID and insurance card uploads, before arriving.
Authorized paths only
Every connection uses Dentrix's own tools or a vendor on the authorized list.
Our Dentrix Setup Process
You see the recommended path, the vendor costs, and every test booking before launch. Nothing goes live until your front desk has tried it.
We start with a free call about your Dentrix version, offices, and the booking and forms tools you already use. You get a recommended path, a list of vendor costs, and a fixed-price proposal.
What's Included
Everything a patient touches on your website, connected to Dentrix through an approved path, plus testing and a guide for your front desk.
Compare Options
Setting up booking yourself costs less, and a plain web form works on any site. Here is where each option helps a Dentrix practice and where it breaks down.

What Our Clients Say
Feedback from teams we have built booking systems and integrations for.
We had a pretty specific idea of what we wanted our website to become, but I wasn’t sure how easily we could explain all of it to a development team. There were quite a few moving parts, and we were working toward a deadline, so I expected a few things to get lost along the way. That never really happened. They understood what we were trying to achieve, kept us updated throughout the process, and got everything ready within the agreed timeline. The final site feels much easier to navigate, works beautifully on mobile, and is noticeably smoother for our customers. It was a huge relief seeing the original idea actually turn into the website we had in mind.
The mobile experience is probably my favourite part of the new site. We had spent a lot of time making sure the desktop version looked right, and the team kept pushing us to think about how everything would actually feel on a phone too. They were right. The navigation is clean, the interactions feel natural, and everything we’ve tested so far works exactly as it should. They also went through the links, forms, integrations, and other details more than once before launch, which I really appreciated. And even after going live, we could still reach out when something came up. The whole process felt friendly, organised, and surprisingly straightforward.
What I appreciate most is that the website is actually easy for us to manage now. We can update content ourselves instead of sending a developer a message every time we need to change something small. They also paid attention to the technical SEO side, which mattered to us because we didn’t want a new website to create problems for the traffic we already had. I’ve probably asked more questions than I should have since launch, but every question has been handled patiently and without any fuss. The team is easy to work with, they explain things clearly, and when we need something changed, they focus on getting it done rather than making the process complicated.

Work Culture
These habits come from connecting booking and records systems for healthcare clients. They protect your schedule, your patient data, and your Dentrix support.
We connect through Henry Schein One's own tools or vendors on its authorized list. Your Dentrix support stays intact, and patient data doesn't take a side door.
Online visit types follow the hours and providers you set in Dentrix. Patients only see openings your team wants booked online.
Forms and bookings arrive in Dentrix instead of an inbox. Your team reviews and accepts the data rather than copying it from emails.
We book, move, and cancel test visits before launch. If a booking fails, we find out before a patient does.
If Patient Engage already covers what you need, we'll tell you before we quote. Some practices only need their booking settings fixed.
Vendor accounts, website code, and logins stay in your practice's name. If you switch partners, nothing stays locked to us.
Overview
DeveloperLook builds Dentrix integrations that connect your website to Dentrix G7 or Dentrix Ascend through authorized paths. We set up online booking, intake forms, and recall pages, and build custom screens through approved API Exchange vendors. Projects start at $600, most go live in 1 to 8 weeks, and nothing writes to Dentrix outside an approved path.

Good fit
Dentrix G7 practices with busy phones
You're on Dentrix G7. Your front desk books most visits by phone, and online requests still arrive as emails.
Offices retyping online requests
Your dental office Dentrix integration stops at an email, so someone retypes every online request into the Appointment Book.
Practices on Dentrix Ascend
You moved to Dentrix Ascend and want Reserve with Google, website booking, and digital forms working together.
Groups with several offices
You run 2 to 4 offices on Dentrix and need each website booking routed to the right location and provider.
Agencies building dental sites
You build websites for dental clients and need a partner who handles Dentrix booking and forms under your brand.
Not a fit
Running Open Dental
Your practice runs Open Dental. Our Open Dental Integration page covers its API, Web Sched, and Web Forms instead.
DEXIS imaging support
You need the DEXIS Integrator for Dentrix fixed or reinstalled. That's in-office imaging support, and Henry Schein One replaced it with Dentrix Smart Image for DEXIS.
Direct database writes
You want a tool that writes straight into the Dentrix database without Henry Schein One's approval. We don't build those, because they put your data and support at risk.
New site comes first
Your budget is under $600, or you need a new site first. Our Dental Website Design service builds the site and sets up booking in one project.

Send the Dentrix version, offices, current tools, and the launch date you promised.
You get the recommended path, vendor costs, and a fixed price before you commit.
We set up, test, and document everything under your brand for your team.

Our Dentrix integrations start at $600 for online booking set up across your website. The Booking and Intake Flow plan costs $1,650 and adds digital intake forms and recall pages. Custom screens through an authorized vendor start at $3,400. Dentrix add-on and vendor subscriptions are billed to you separately, and we list them before you sign.
Most projects take 1 to 8 weeks. Booking setup on an existing Patient Engage or Ascend account takes 1 to 2 weeks. An intake flow takes 3 to 5, and custom vendor screens take 5 to 8. Vendor onboarding and your own form reviews are the usual delays, so we start both early.
Yes, but only through paths Henry Schein One authorizes, not a direct database connection. Dentrix G7 practices use Patient Engage booking and forms or an authorized vendor. Dentrix Ascend runs in the cloud and has its own online booking and patient forms, plus API access for approved vendors. We connect your site to whichever path fits your version.
It cuts manual entry by sending booking and form data into Dentrix instead of an email inbox. New patients complete digital forms on their phones, upload their ID and insurance card, and sign consents before arriving. Your team reviews and accepts the data rather than retyping it from paper, which also means fewer typos in the chart.
Patients book through Patient Engage online booking or an authorized vendor, which places the visit in your Appointment Book as if your office scheduled it. The sync runs in real time, so the openings patients see match your schedule. If your server is offline or the slot fills first, the booking becomes a request your team accepts.
You need an authorized connection, not custom middleware reading the database. Dentrix G7 keeps data on your office server, so an approved vendor's connection sits between it and your website. Henry Schein One's developer program charges $5,000 each for read and write access, plus monthly royalties. That's why custom screens usually run through a vendor you already use.
You automate recall reminders with Patient Engage or an authorized vendor that reads recall due dates from Dentrix and sends texts or emails. We build recall booking pages on your website, so the link in each reminder opens a booking screen with the right visit type. Patients who book land in your schedule like any online booking.
Yes, because Dentrix Ascend runs in the cloud while Dentrix G7 runs on your office server. Ascend's online booking works through Reserve with Google, your website, or an email link, and its patient forms feed the record in real time. G7 bookings depend on the office server being online, so we plan for request fallbacks.
Check Henry Schein One's authorized vendor list before you sign anything. The company has sued a vendor whose software wrote into Dentrix without approval. It asks practices to have unlisted vendors apply to its API Exchange first. We only build on listed vendors or Dentrix's own tools, and we check the list at kickoff.
Every plan includes post-launch support: 30 days for booking setup, 60 for the intake flow, and 90 for custom vendor work. We fix issues, check bookings after Dentrix or vendor updates, and adjust visit types as your schedule changes. After that, you can book changes as needed, and you keep every login and document.
