The Problem
HoneyBook can reply to a new inquiry on its own, but only when your website form feeds it. Many sites still email a contact form to your phone instead.
Weekend inquiries wait until Monday for your brochure.
You paste every contact form into HoneyBook by hand.
Couples need four emails to reach a signed contract.
Saturday, 9 p.m. A couple finds your photography site after seeing your work at a friend's wedding. Your contact form emails their date and budget to a phone that's busy at another wedding. On Monday you paste the details into HoneyBook and send your brochure. They've already booked two vendors who replied that night. Even the couples you win take four emails to reach a signed contract.
An automation sends your brochure and scheduling link when the form arrives.
HoneyBook's own form on your site creates the project for you.
One smart file carries the services, the contract, and the retainer invoice.
We put HoneyBook's form on your website, styled like your brand instead of a pasted widget. When a couple submits it, an automation sends your brochure and scheduling link. One smart file then carries the services, the contract, and the retainer invoice. Zapier passes each new inquiry and booking to your email list or CRM. Couples hear from you that night, not after the weekend.
Forms that look like yours
Your inquiry form styled and placed on every page couples reach from search.
Replies sent on submission
Automations send the brochure and scheduler link as soon as a form arrives.
One file to sign and pay
Services, contract, and retainer invoice combined, so couples book in one sitting.
Our HoneyBook Integration Process
You see how inquiries reach you today, approve each automation, and test the full path as a client would. Nothing switches on until you've booked a test project yourself.
What's Included
Every plan puts a styled HoneyBook form on your pages with an automation behind it. Larger plans add booking smart files, Zapier connections, custom forms, and tracking.

Many studios set up HoneyBook themselves, and a good assistant can run it well. Here's where each fits once your website, automations, and tools must connect.

Photography, art, and concierge sites from our portfolio: the inquiry and booking work behind a HoneyBook setup, though none of these projects used HoneyBook.
What Our Clients Say
Feedback from teams we have built booking and automation work for.
We had a pretty specific idea of what we wanted our website to become, but I wasn’t sure how easily we could explain all of it to a development team. There were quite a few moving parts, and we were working toward a deadline, so I expected a few things to get lost along the way. That never really happened. They understood what we were trying to achieve, kept us updated throughout the process, and got everything ready within the agreed timeline. The final site feels much easier to navigate, works beautifully on mobile, and is noticeably smoother for our customers. It was a huge relief seeing the original idea actually turn into the website we had in mind.
The mobile experience is probably my favourite part of the new site. We had spent a lot of time making sure the desktop version looked right, and the team kept pushing us to think about how everything would actually feel on a phone too. They were right. The navigation is clean, the interactions feel natural, and everything we’ve tested so far works exactly as it should. They also went through the links, forms, integrations, and other details more than once before launch, which I really appreciated. And even after going live, we could still reach out when something came up. The whole process felt friendly, organised, and surprisingly straightforward.
What I appreciate most is that the website is actually easy for us to manage now. We can update content ourselves instead of sending a developer a message every time we need to change something small. They also paid attention to the technical SEO side, which mattered to us because we didn’t want a new website to create problems for the traffic we already had. I’ve probably asked more questions than I should have since launch, but every question has been handled patiently and without any fuss. The team is easy to work with, they explain things clearly, and when we need something changed, they focus on getting it done rather than making the process complicated.

Work Culture
Your HoneyBook account holds contracts and payments, so setup mistakes reach real couples. These habits keep replies quick, files accurate, and control with you.
Overview
DeveloperLook sets up HoneyBook integrations for event planners, photographers, florists, and caterers. We style your lead form on your site, automate the brochure and scheduling reply, build booking smart files with contracts and retainers, and connect Zapier to your CRM. Projects start at $500, take 1 to 7 weeks, and stay in your account.
You plan weddings and corporate events. Couples fill out your site's contact form, and you copy each one into HoneyBook by hand.
Your calendar books a year out, and every inquiry needs your pricing guide and a call link before another photographer replies.
You send menu or floral proposals, and couples sign and pay only after several emails.
Your leads also belong in Mailchimp, a CRM, or a sheet, and a HoneyBook contact form integration would end the copying.
You build sites for photographers and planners and want a HoneyBook integration partner who works under your brand.
You run venue sales in Tripleseat rather than HoneyBook. Tripleseat Website Integration Services connects your forms and rooms to it.
Your catering business runs on Caterease. Caterease Website Integration Services handles web inquiries and online ordering for it.
Your budget is under $500, or HoneyBook's default form is enough. Its help guides cover that setup for free.
You want code that writes straight into HoneyBook's database. HoneyBook offers no open API, and we won't use unofficial workarounds.

We return the automation map, a fixed price, and a timeline to resell.

The Right Technology for Your Project
We work inside HoneyBook's own tools first and add Zapier only where your other systems need the data.

WixFAQ
Straight answers on cost, timelines, forms, automations, contracts, Zapier, and HoneyBook's limits.
HoneyBook integrations start at $500 for a styled form with an automated brochure reply. Booking smart files with contracts, retainers, and Zapier start at $1,350, and custom forms with booking reports start at $2,850. Your HoneyBook subscription stays billed directly by HoneyBook, separate from our fixed price.
A styled form with automations takes 1 to 2 weeks. Booking smart files and Zapier connections take 3 to 4 weeks, and custom forms across several service lines take 5 to 7 weeks. Most of that time goes to writing your replies and testing a real booking.
They embed the inquiry form with the code HoneyBook gives under Lead capture, then Share, then Code. Smart files aren't embedded: they open from a direct link or an automated email. We style the form and link your pricing guide from the pages couples read first.
An Automations 2.0 rule starts on the Lead form submitted trigger, then runs its actions in order. The first action emails your brochure smart file, and a wait step checks whether a call got booked before a reminder goes out. Conditions can split the path by project tags.
You link them rather than rebuild them. A booking smart file holds the services, the contract, and the retainer invoice, and HoneyBook holds payment until the contract is signed when a signature is required. We put that link behind a Book Now button and redirect clients to your thank-you page.
HoneyBook's Zapier app triggers on New Inquiry, New Project Booked, New Payment Paid, Project Stage Changed, Client Created, and Meeting Scheduled. It can also create clients and projects. Webhooks by Zapier then post those events to any CRM or database, though custom fields don't pass through.
Use the HoneyBook lead form when its questions and styling are enough, because submissions create projects and start automations directly. A custom form suits your own layout or logic, and Zapier then creates the client and project. That path costs more and adds a Zapier bill.
Not in the usual sense, because HoneyBook publishes no open API for outside developers. Custom work runs through its Zapier app, which needs an Essential or Premium plan and the key under Tools, then Integrations. We'll say so when HoneyBook's own settings can do the job alone.
The form adds HoneyBook's code snippet, so we load it only on pages that ask for inquiries. Tracking works best when the booking smart file redirects to your own thank-you page, since GA4 counts that visit. We check page speed before and after placing the form.
Everything stays in your accounts: HoneyBook, Zapier, and your website. Every automation, smart file template, and Zap remains editable by you, and we leave notes on each one. We also fix any issues for 30, 45, or 60 days after launch, based on your plan.
