The Problem
Signing up for Shopify is easy. The hard part comes after: dozens of settings for payments, shipping, taxes, and policies that all need to be right before the first real order.
01 · Settings
Shipping, tax, and payment settings sit half finished.
We complete every setting from a written launch checklist built for your store.
02 · Products
Products are missing variants, weights, or photos.
We import products by CSV with variants, SKUs, weights, and SEO fields.
03 · Checkout
Nobody knows if checkout charges the right shipping.
We place real test orders and check rates, taxes, and every email.
04 · Launch date
Launch keeps slipping while you learn the admin.
We work through the checklist in parallel, so setup finishes in weeks.
You picked Shopify because it looked simple, and signing up was quick. Then the admin opened up: shipping profiles, tax regions, payment verification, policies, domains, notifications, and a theme editor with more options than you expected. Your trial days are running out, half your products have no variants, and you're still not sure checkout charges the right shipping. Launch keeps slipping while you watch tutorials.
We start with a short call and a launch checklist built around your products, markets, and shipping. Then we set up every item on it: theme, products, payments, shipping, taxes, policies, domain, and the apps you actually need. Before launch, we place real test orders and check each email. You open your store already tested, not still guessing.
Every setting done for you
Payments, shipping, taxes, policies, and notifications set from a 40+ item launch checklist.
Products imported cleanly
Variants, SKUs, weights, and SEO fields loaded by CSV, so collections and filters work.
Checkout tested before launch
Real test orders confirm shipping rates, taxes, discounts, and emails before your first customer arrives.
Our Shopify Store Setup Process
Every Shopify setup service we run follows these steps. You approve the checklist, the theme preview, your shipping and tax settings, and the launch date.
We talk through your products, markets, shipping, and the apps you're considering. You get a launch checklist with 40+ items, a list of what we need from you, and a fixed price.
What's Included
Everything a new store needs before its first real order: theme, products, payments, shipping, taxes, policies, apps, and a tested checkout.
Compare Options
DIY costs nothing but time and suits simple catalogs. A freelancer can be cheaper for one task. A setup team fits when you want everything done and tested at once.

What Our Clients Say
Feedback from teams we have built online stores and websites for.
We had a pretty specific idea of what we wanted our website to become, but I wasn’t sure how easily we could explain all of it to a development team. There were quite a few moving parts, and we were working toward a deadline, so I expected a few things to get lost along the way. That never really happened. They understood what we were trying to achieve, kept us updated throughout the process, and got everything ready within the agreed timeline. The final site feels much easier to navigate, works beautifully on mobile, and is noticeably smoother for our customers. It was a huge relief seeing the original idea actually turn into the website we had in mind.
The mobile experience is probably my favourite part of the new site. We had spent a lot of time making sure the desktop version looked right, and the team kept pushing us to think about how everything would actually feel on a phone too. They were right. The navigation is clean, the interactions feel natural, and everything we’ve tested so far works exactly as it should. They also went through the links, forms, integrations, and other details more than once before launch, which I really appreciated. And even after going live, we could still reach out when something came up. The whole process felt friendly, organised, and surprisingly straightforward.
What I appreciate most is that the website is actually easy for us to manage now. We can update content ourselves instead of sending a developer a message every time we need to change something small. They also paid attention to the technical SEO side, which mattered to us because we didn’t want a new website to create problems for the traffic we already had. I’ve probably asked more questions than I should have since launch, but every question has been handled patiently and without any fuss. The team is easy to work with, they explain things clearly, and when we need something changed, they focus on getting it done rather than making the process complicated.

Work Culture
A good setup is mostly careful decisions made once. These habits get your store selling without leaving loose ends behind.
Every setup follows a written list of 40+ items, from tax regions to order emails. Nothing depends on someone remembering a setting.
We place and refund real test orders on your checkout. A preview link can't tell you whether shipping and taxes charge correctly.
Each app adds a monthly fee and code to your store. We install the ones your plan needs and show what your theme already does.
We recommend the Shopify plan that fits your volume and staff, not the biggest one. Plenty of new stores start well on the Basic plan.
A recorded walkthrough shows how to add products, handle orders, and edit pages. You won't need us for everyday store work.
Shopify, domain, and payment accounts are created in your name. We work as a staff account, and you remove our access when you're ready.

Good fit
First-time Shopify owners
You've signed up for Shopify, opened the admin, and stalled at shipping profiles, tax settings, and choosing between dozens of themes.
Makers moving from Etsy
You sell on Etsy and want your own Shopify store, with your listings, photos, and variations brought over instead of retyped.
Retailers adding online sales
Your shop runs on Square or a spreadsheet, and you want a service to create a Shopify store from that catalog without losing your weekends.
Brands selling in several countries
You plan to sell in the US, UK, and Canada from day one and want Markets, currencies, and shipping zones right before launch.
Agencies without Shopify staff
Your agency sells websites and wants a white-label Shopify store set up service for clients who suddenly ask for an online store.
Not a fit
Custom design needed
You want a one-off store design rather than a styled theme. Our Shopify Website Design team designs custom templates before anything is set up.
Custom features or apps
You need custom code, a private app, or special checkout logic. Our Shopify Development Services team scopes and builds that as its own project.
Large platform migration
You're moving thousands of products, customers, and orders from Magento or BigCommerce. Our Shopify Migration Services team handles that data, redirects, and SEO.
Handful of products
You sell a handful of products in one country. Shopify's built-in setup guide may be all you need, and we'll tell you before we quote.

Send the client's products, markets, brand files, and target launch date.
A launch checklist and a fixed price before any setup work starts.
A tested store, refunded test orders, and a walkthrough recorded under your brand.
Walkthroughs and handover notes carry your brand, not ours.
Every client store follows the same 40+ item launch checklist.
Fixed scopes and launch dates you can promise your clients.
Hand us one store or several in the same month.
The Right Technology for Your Project

Our setup starts at $750 for a branded Theme Store theme, up to 50 products, payments, shipping, taxes, and test orders. Brand-ready setups with up to 300 products and key apps cost $1,650, and setups with a product move and Markets start at $2,900. Your Shopify plan, any paid theme, and app fees are billed separately.
Most setups take 1 to 2 weeks once we have your products, photos, and policies. Larger catalogs with a product move and several markets take 3 to 4 weeks. The usual delay is content, so on day one we send a checklist of everything we need from you.
Yes. You create the Shopify account in your name, add us as staff, and we do the full setup while you keep ownership. Most owners who tell us 'I need someone to set up my Shopify store' want 3 things. They want payments working, shipping charged correctly, and products that look right on a phone.
Hire help if your time is worth more than the learning curve, or if you have many variants, markets, or shipping rules. If you sell a few simple products in one country, Shopify's setup guide may be enough. A paid setup makes sense when a wrong tax or shipping setting would cost more than the fee.
You can hire Shopify store setup experts from agencies like ours, from Shopify's own Partner Directory, or from freelance marketplaces. Ask each one for a written checklist, a fixed price, and who owns the accounts. For moves from Etsy, Square, or WooCommerce, also ask how they handle variants, customer records, and redirects.
Pick a paid plan, remove the password page, and place a real test order. Shopify keeps the storefront password-protected until you choose a plan, and the password can't be removed on the free trial. We also connect your domain, submit your sitemap to Google Search Console, and refund the test order.
They work from a tested checklist instead of learning each setting as they go. We run steps in parallel: the theme gets styled while products import, and payment details are submitted early so verification doesn't hold up launch. That's why most of our Shopify setup services finish in 1 to 2 weeks.
We start from a free or paid theme in the Shopify Theme Store that suits your catalog, then set it up with your brand. Current Theme Store themes are built from sections and blocks, so you can edit pages yourself later. Custom theme code is a separate project on our Custom Shopify Theme Development page.
Yes. We clean your data into Shopify's product CSV format, with variants, prices, SKUs, barcodes, weights, and SEO titles, then import and spot-check it. Our largest setup plan moves up to 2,000 products plus customers and order history. Bigger platform moves with SEO redirects belong with our Shopify Migration Services team.
Yes. The Shopify account, domain, payment accounts, and apps are in your name from day one, and we work as a staff account you can remove anytime. You also get a recorded walkthrough of your admin and 30 days of support, so everyday store work doesn't depend on us.
