Teams we have built for:

The Problem
It shows up right after the first developer quote. Code looks too expensive, so you start building alone, and the launch date slides a little more each week.
01 · Big quotes
A coded app costs more than your whole budget.
A no-code build puts a working version in testers' hands for far less.
02 · Tangled data
Collections got tangled and lists slowed down.
We redesign the collections and load only the records each screen needs.
03 · Store review
Store submission feels like a mystery.
We prepare the listings and handle submission under your developer accounts.
04 · Data privacy
You can't tell if users see each other's records.
Visibility rules limit each user to their own data, tested with separate accounts.
You've sketched the app for months, and a developer quoted more than your whole pre-seed budget. So you started in Adalo yourself. The first screens came together fast. Then the collections got tangled, lists slowed down, and the payment flow only half works. Store submission feels like a mystery, and you're not sure users can't see each other's data. Meanwhile your launch date keeps sliding while you watch tutorials at midnight.
We start with the screens, data, and users your first version actually needs, and we tell you whether Adalo, Softr, Glide, or code fits. Then we design the collections and visibility rules, build the screens, connect Stripe and your APIs, and prepare the app for the App Store and Google Play. Your first users download a real app, while you keep budget for what they ask for next.
Real apps in both stores
Adalo builds native iOS and Android apps, so testers download your app instead of opening a link.
Data designed before screens
Collections, relationships, and visibility rules come first, so each screen loads only the records it needs.
Data you can take with you
You can export your app's data at any time, and we document where everything lives.
Our Adalo App Development Services Process
You approve the tool choice, the screens, and the data plan before we build, then test each sprint on your own phone.
We look at your idea or your current app, your data, and your must-have features. You get a short note on whether Adalo, Softr, Glide, or code fits, and which Adalo plan your features need.
What's Included
A tool review, app screens for iOS, Android, and the web, collections with privacy rules, integrations, Softr or Glide portals where they fit, and store submission.
Compare Options
Building it yourself costs only your time, and custom code gives you full source code. Here is where each option fits a first app, and where it breaks down.
| Feature | DeveloperLookBest fit | DIY build | Custom code |
|---|---|---|---|
| First working version | 2 to 3 weeks | Depends on your evenings | Often several months |
| Data and roles | Designed before screens | Grows as you go | Designed by engineers |
| Store submission | Handled with you | On your own | Usually included |
| Integrations | Custom Actions and Xano | What tutorials cover | Anything with an API |
| Upfront cost | From $800, fixed | Your time and the plan fee | Highest of the three |
| Source code | Not exportable | Not exportable | Full code you own |
| Changes later | Your team edits screens | Only you know the setup | A developer for each change |
| Support after launch | 30 to 90 days | Community forum | Depends on contract |
Projects We've Built
Mobile apps our team designed and built for booking, wellness, staffing, and ordering. They show the screens and user flows a first app needs, whatever tool builds it.
What Our Clients Say
Feedback from teams we have built apps and web products for.
We had a pretty specific idea of what we wanted our website to become, but I wasn’t sure how easily we could explain all of it to a development team. There were quite a few moving parts, and we were working toward a deadline, so I expected a few things to get lost along the way. That never really happened. They understood what we were trying to achieve, kept us updated throughout the process, and got everything ready within the agreed timeline. The final site feels much easier to navigate, works beautifully on mobile, and is noticeably smoother for our customers. It was a huge relief seeing the original idea actually turn into the website we had in mind.
The mobile experience is probably my favourite part of the new site. We had spent a lot of time making sure the desktop version looked right, and the team kept pushing us to think about how everything would actually feel on a phone too. They were right. The navigation is clean, the interactions feel natural, and everything we’ve tested so far works exactly as it should. They also went through the links, forms, integrations, and other details more than once before launch, which I really appreciated. And even after going live, we could still reach out when something came up. The whole process felt friendly, organised, and surprisingly straightforward.
What I appreciate most is that the website is actually easy for us to manage now. We can update content ourselves instead of sending a developer a message every time we need to change something small. They also paid attention to the technical SEO side, which mattered to us because we didn’t want a new website to create problems for the traffic we already had. I’ve probably asked more questions than I should have since launch, but every question has been handled patiently and without any fuss. The team is easy to work with, they explain things clearly, and when we need something changed, they focus on getting it done rather than making the process complicated.

Work Culture
No-code makes the first version fast, which makes it easy to build the wrong thing quickly. These habits keep your budget on what users actually need.
Adalo suits MVPs and member apps, not every product. If your app needs heavy logic or code you can export, we'll point you to code before you sign.
Most slow no-code apps have tangled collections, not bad screens. We design the data and relationships before we build the first screen.
We log in as different test users to confirm nobody sees another person's records. Visibility rules get checked, not assumed.
Some features need a higher Adalo plan. We list which plan your features require, so your monthly bill holds no surprises after launch.
Every sprint gets tested on iPhone and Android devices, not only in the browser preview, because the stores review the phone experience.
Every collection, screen, and integration is documented. If you move to code later, the rebuild starts from a clear map instead of guesswork.
Overview
DeveloperLook's Adalo experts build first apps for founders who don't have a full development team. We plan your screens and data, build the app, connect payments and APIs, and submit it to both stores. A Softr or Glide portal is the lighter option. Projects start at $800, prototypes take 2 to 3 weeks, and your data stays exportable.

Good fit
Founders testing an app idea
You have an app idea and a small budget, and you want Adalo experts to put a working version in testers' hands before you raise or hire.
Teams with a half-built Adalo app
You started building in Adalo yourself, but the collections got tangled and lists slowed down, so you need Adalo developers to untangle it.
Businesses needing a client portal
Your client records already live in Airtable, and you want a Softr portal where each client sees only their own projects and files.
Field teams logging jobs in Sheets
Your staff log jobs in a shared Google Sheet, and a Glide app on their phones would end the copy-and-paste without a new database.
Agencies offering no-code apps
Your agency sells no-code apps to clients and needs a team for Adalo builds and Xano backends delivered under your brand.
Not a fit
Budget under $800
Your budget is under $800 and you need a simple directory or form. A Glide or Softr template you set up yourself will do for now.
Need full source code
You need source code you can host and edit anywhere. Adalo doesn't export code, so our FlutterFlow Developers for Hire page fits better.
Complex web app
You're building a complex web app with heavy logic and many user types. Our Bubble Developer for Hire page covers that kind of build.
Tools on a SQL database
You need admin tools on top of an existing SQL database. Our Retool Developer for Internal Tools page fits that job better.

For Agencies
You own the client relationship. We supply the no-code build work behind it: data models, Adalo apps, Softr portals, and store submissions. Your client hears only from your team, and every app lives in the client's own Adalo or Softr account.
White label: your client only ever sees your brand
Send the client's idea, their data, and the screens they think they need.
You get a tool recommendation, a screen list, and a fixed quote.
We build, test on real phones, and hand over under your brand.
You run the client calls while we build in their account.
Each app is priced before work starts, so your margin holds.
We prepare listings and work through store review for your clients.
Extra no-code builders for busy months without any new hires.
The Right Technology for Your Project
The no-code builders we use, the places your data can live, the payment and integration tools we connect, and the stores your app ships to.

Our work starts at $800 for a clickable prototype of up to 8 screens, or one Softr or Glide app. An MVP with up to 20 screens, payments, and store submission costs $2,700, and builds with a Xano backend start at $5,600. Adalo's plan and your Apple and Google developer accounts are paid separately.
A prototype or a Softr or Glide portal takes 2 to 3 weeks. An Adalo MVP takes 5 to 8 weeks including store submission, and since store review times vary, we plan a buffer before your launch date. You test each sprint on your own phone along the way.
Adalo is a no-code platform for building mobile and web apps with a visual editor, a built-in database, and ready-made actions. You design screens by placing lists, forms, and buttons, then link them to collections of data. It publishes native iOS and Android apps as well as web apps.
Yes. Adalo builds native iOS and Android apps that you publish to the Apple App Store and Google Play, plus a web version. Store publishing needs a paid plan and your own Apple and Google developer accounts. We prepare the listings and handle the submission with you.
It's good for MVPs: booking apps, directories, simple marketplaces, and member apps where you need to test demand quickly. It gets harder with very large data sets, heavy calculations, or complex permissions. Moving the data to a Xano backend helps, and we'll say up front if code is the better route.
Adalo says it encrypts data in transit and at rest and hashes passwords with bcrypt. Card payments go through Stripe, so card numbers stay off its servers. The rest depends on your build: we set visibility rules so each user sees only their own records, then test them with separate accounts.
You own the app's intellectual property and can export its data at any time, according to Adalo's help center. The app itself runs on the platform, though, so you can't take the code elsewhere. We document every collection and screen, which makes a later rebuild much faster if you outgrow it.
No. Adalo doesn't export source code, so there's nothing to push to GitHub. If owning the code matters to investors or your own developers, FlutterFlow exports Flutter code, and we'll recommend it before you start. Your app's data can still be exported whenever you need it, so a move later starts with real records.
Common Adalo integrations are Stripe payments, Zapier, Xano as an external backend, and any REST API through Custom Actions or External Collections. Custom Actions and External Collections need Adalo's Professional plan or higher. We check your plan and each API's limits before we promise a connection.
Every plan includes 30 to 90 days of support for fixes, store resubmissions, and small changes. We watch crash reports and user feedback during the first weeks. After that, your team can edit screens themselves using our notes, or we quote new features as users ask for them.
