The Problem
Yes, when every lead arrives with a source. JobNimbus integrations usually get ordered after a storm, when leads pour in from forms, calls, and ads, and Insights can't say which channel paid.
01 · Lead source
Storm leads arrive with no source attached.
Every form, call, and ad lead gets its source on entry.
02 · QuickBooks
Invoices get retyped, and duplicate customers appear.
Names and products are matched first, then invoices sync from JobNimbus.
03 · Sold jobs
Nobody gets a task when a job is marked Sold.
Moving a job to Sold creates the material order task on its own.
04 · Photos
Crew photos stay in CompanyCam, away from the job.
CompanyCam photos sync back to the job's Photos tab in JobNimbus.
A hailstorm rolls through, and your phones, web form, and Facebook ads light up at once. Leads land in JobNimbus without a source, so Insights can't tell you which channel paid for itself. Your sales rep marks a job Sold, but nobody gets a task to order materials. The office retypes the approved invoice into QuickBooks, and a name spelled two ways creates a duplicate customer. Crew photos sit in CompanyCam while the adjuster asks for them by email.
We start with your board: the statuses a roofing job moves through from lead to paid. Every lead source gets set on entry, and every integration hangs off a status change. Sold creates the material task, Invoiced pushes to QuickBooks after names and products are matched, and CompanyCam photos flow back to the job. Work follows the board, not someone's memory.
Board statuses drive everything
Each integration fires on a status change your team already makes, so there's nothing new to remember.
Lead source set on entry
Form, call, and ad leads carry a source, so Insights reports close rate by channel.
QuickBooks matched before sync
Customer names and products lined up first, because JobNimbus matches QuickBooks records by display name.
Our JobNimbus Integration Process
You see the status and lead source map first, approve it, then watch each sync and automation run on a test job before your crews rely on it.
We walk through your board with you: statuses, lead sources, who acts after Sold, and which tools hold data today. You get a map of the links JobNimbus already offers and the gaps that need Zapier or the API.
What's Included
Most roofing companies need lead sources, the QuickBooks sync, and a handful of status automations. Larger teams add CompanyCam, crew calendars, and custom work on the API.
Compare Options
Switching on JobNimbus's own QuickBooks link yourself is free and fine for simple books. A freelancer can build one zap quickly. Here's where each holds up as storm volume grows.

Projects We've Built
Construction sites and field-team software we designed and built. None of them ran on JobNimbus, but each one tracks jobs, crews, or orders.
What Our Clients Say
Feedback from teams we have built websites and business software for.
We had a pretty specific idea of what we wanted our website to become, but I wasn’t sure how easily we could explain all of it to a development team. There were quite a few moving parts, and we were working toward a deadline, so I expected a few things to get lost along the way. That never really happened. They understood what we were trying to achieve, kept us updated throughout the process, and got everything ready within the agreed timeline. The final site feels much easier to navigate, works beautifully on mobile, and is noticeably smoother for our customers. It was a huge relief seeing the original idea actually turn into the website we had in mind.
The mobile experience is probably my favourite part of the new site. We had spent a lot of time making sure the desktop version looked right, and the team kept pushing us to think about how everything would actually feel on a phone too. They were right. The navigation is clean, the interactions feel natural, and everything we’ve tested so far works exactly as it should. They also went through the links, forms, integrations, and other details more than once before launch, which I really appreciated. And even after going live, we could still reach out when something came up. The whole process felt friendly, organised, and surprisingly straightforward.
What I appreciate most is that the website is actually easy for us to manage now. We can update content ourselves instead of sending a developer a message every time we need to change something small. They also paid attention to the technical SEO side, which mattered to us because we didn’t want a new website to create problems for the traffic we already had. I’ve probably asked more questions than I should have since launch, but every question has been handled patiently and without any fuss. The team is easy to work with, they explain things clearly, and when we need something changed, they focus on getting it done rather than making the process complicated.

Work Culture
Roofing offices run on the board, and storm weeks leave no room for broken syncs. These habits keep our JobNimbus integration services steady when volume spikes.
We check JobNimbus's own integrations and Zapier first. If the built-in QuickBooks link already covers your case, we'll tell you before we quote.
Each automation hangs off a single board status with a named owner. When something fires twice, you know exactly where to look.
JobNimbus matches QuickBooks records by display name, and created records can't be undone. We clean names first, so duplicate customers don't start.
Every sync and automation runs on one test job before your crews touch it. Mistakes show up in a test, not on a homeowner's invoice.
API keys inherit the access profile they're created under. We set up a profile with only the access each link needs, and you keep the keys.
You get a written scope and one price after the free review. New requests mid-project get quoted before we start them.
Overview

Good fit
Roofers retyping invoices into QuickBooks
Your office types every approved invoice into QuickBooks twice, and payments land in the wrong account. You want the JobNimbus QuickBooks integration set up properly.
Storm-season crews with lead spikes
Your phones and web forms flood after a hailstorm, and leads land with no source. You need every lead tagged before sales calls back.
Owners new to board automations
You've read about JobNimbus workflow automations for roofers but haven't built one. You want tasks, texts, and status changes firing from your board.
Teams split across CompanyCam and Google
Your crews shoot photos in CompanyCam and check Google Calendar, while the office lives in JobNimbus. You want all three kept in step.
Developers reading the API docs
Your in-house developer found the JobNimbus API docs on Postman and needs help scoping a custom build without breaking live jobs.
Not a fit
Still choosing a CRM
You haven't picked JobNimbus yet and you're still comparing roofing CRMs. Our roofing CRM setup page helps you choose before anything gets connected.
Builders on Buildertrend
Your company runs new builds and remodels on Buildertrend, not JobNimbus. Our Buildertrend integrations page covers that system's accounting and CRM links.
Budget under $650
Your budget is under $650 and you only need QuickBooks Online switched on. JobNimbus's own setup guide covers that, and we'll say so before we quote.
Leaving JobNimbus entirely
You're moving every record out of JobNimbus to a new CRM. JobNimbus has no single full-account export, so that's a migration we quote on its own.

White label: your client only ever sees your brand
Send the JobNimbus statuses, the tools in use, and what the client wants fixed first.
We map statuses and links, then send a fixed scope you can mark up.
We build, test on a real job, and hand you a white-label guide.
Your brand on every guide and handover document we write.
Fixed timelines, so storm-season launches land when you promised them.
Every link tied to the board statuses your client already uses.
Extra hands for several roofing clients without a new hire.
The Right Technology for Your Project
We use JobNimbus's own integrations and Automations first, then Zapier and the JobNimbus API where the built-in links stop.

DeveloperLook's JobNimbus integrations start at $650 for lead sources, board statuses, and a QuickBooks Online or Desktop sync with one job tested. Adding status automations, CompanyCam, Google Calendar, and ad lead zaps starts at $1,650. Custom API builds start at $3,450. JobNimbus, QuickBooks, and Zapier bill their own subscriptions.
JobNimbus is CRM and project management software for contractors, with tools roofers use such as EagleView measurements and supplier ordering. Contacts, jobs, estimates, invoices, and tasks move across boards by status. It also includes Automations, Insights reports, Engage texting, and JobNimbus Payments, and links to CompanyCam, Hover, and SumoQuote.
Yes, JobNimbus is a CRM, and it also runs production. Contacts and jobs sit beside estimates, invoices, tasks, and material orders, so one record follows a roof from first call to final payment. That's why we treat the board's statuses as the trigger for every integration, instead of adding a second CRM beside it.
Yes, JobNimbus syncs with QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop for Windows, but not QuickBooks for Mac. Online runs two-way, import-only, or export-only for contacts, jobs, estimates, invoices, credit memos, payments, and products. Payments go one way into Undeposited Funds, draft invoices don't sync, and records match by display name, so we clean names first.
JobNimbus Automations run on an event or a schedule and take one of five actions. They can create a task, send an email or text, change a status, or call a webhook. For roofers, that's a material order task when a job hits Sold, or a review request text at Paid. Texting needs the Engage add-on, so we check your plan first.
You connect Zapier with a JobNimbus API key from an access profile that has Settings access. The Zapier app triggers when a contact or job is created, changed, or deleted. It can create jobs and contacts, update contacts, add attachments, or find a contact. We use it for web form and Facebook Lead Ads leads, tagged with their source.
You start in JobNimbus settings, create an API key, and paste it into CompanyCam, then paste a CompanyCam token back. Both sides need an admin, and CompanyCam needs a plan above Basic. Jobs or contacts then push to CompanyCam as projects, and crew photos sync one way back to the job's Photos tab in JobNimbus.
You turn on Google Calendar Sync in your JobNimbus profile settings from a web browser. It syncs tasks only, two-way or one-way, and can show your Google events in JobNimbus too. Outlook and Apple Calendar users get a one-way subscription link instead, which can lag by several hours. We set the mode each crew member needs.
Yes, JobNimbus has an open API, with JobNimbus API documentation on its developer site and in Postman. Each key is created in settings, sent as a Bearer token, and inherits its access profile's permissions. JobNimbus itself advises against custom builds without coding experience, so we scope the build, limit the key, and test before go-live.
JobNimbus has no single full-account export, so you export one record type at a time. Build a Custom Report for contacts, jobs, invoices, or tasks, export it to CSV or Excel, and use Download All for each record's attachments. For regular backups, we can schedule exports through the API into your own database.
