The Problem
The trouble starts when two tools can write the same thing. A price edited in OwnerRez fights PriceLabs, and a lock app sends codes for a stay that moved.
Rates
Manual price edits get overwritten by the pricing tool.
Rates
One pricing tool owns nightly rates, and manual edits stop at the source.
Door codes
Locks miss codes because nothing links them to bookings.
Door codes
Each booking creates and updates its door code through a listed lock partner.
Website
Your site links to an old calendar beside the hosted one.
Website
Plugin and widgets run on your domain, and the duplicate hosted site goes.
Changes
A date change leaves each tool guessing what's true.
Changes
Every tool follows the booking, so one change updates rates, codes, and listings.
A guest books your lake house on Airbnb for Friday. PriceLabs already pushed a weekend rate, but someone edited the price in OwnerRez by hand, so the next sync overwrites it. Your WordPress site still links to the old Hosted Website calendar. The Yale lock on the front door didn't get a code, because OwnerRez has no direct Yale link. Then the guest changes dates, and nobody knows which system should update first. You end up texting a door code late at night.
We start by naming one owner for each piece of data. OwnerRez keeps bookings and quotes, PriceLabs or Wheelhouse sets nightly rates, RemoteLock or Jervis sends door codes, and WordPress shows listings. Then we connect each tool through the path OwnerRez documents and switch off the duplicates. When a stay changes, every system follows the booking instead of guessing.
One owner per data type
Rates, codes, bookings, and listings each come from one tool, so syncs stop overwriting each other.
Codes follow the booking
Door codes are created and changed by the booking, through RemoteLock, Jervis, or native Schlage.
Your site, your bookings
The WordPress plugin and widgets put availability and booking on your own domain, not a hosted copy.
Our OwnerRez Integration Services Process
You approve which tool owns each piece of data before anything connects. Then you watch a test quote and booking move through every system.
We list every tool around your OwnerRez account and what each one writes: rates, door codes, messages, listings, and bookings. You get a one-page map naming a single owner for each, plus the premiums and partner accounts it needs.
Projects We've Built
Rental websites, booking apps, and owner dashboards we designed and built. None of them ran on OwnerRez, but they show how we handle stays, calendars, and payments.

What's Included
A written data map, every connection your premiums and partners support, custom code only for the gaps, and one test stay through the whole stack.
Compare Options
A good virtual assistant keeps OwnerRez tidy, and an in-house developer can write code against its API. Here is where each fits, and where OwnerRez integrations need both skills at once.
| Feature | DeveloperLookBest fit | Virtual assistant | In-house developer |
|---|---|---|---|
| Data ownership plan | Mapped before anything connects | Fixed as problems appear | Usually code-first |
| Plugin and widgets | Shortcodes and widgets on every listing | Can paste widget code | Comfortable with WordPress |
| Pricing tool setup | PriceLabs or Wheelhouse rules checked | Often handles this well | Rarely their focus |
| Door lock codes | RemoteLock, Jervis, or Schlage tested | Codes sent by text | Possible with partner docs |
| API and webhooks | Token, retries, and rate limits handled | Not in scope | Strong, if they know OwnerRez |
| Testing | Test quote and stay through every tool | Checked on real guests | Code tests, not live stays |
| Ongoing cost | Fixed scope from $650 | Lower hourly rate | A full salary |
| Ownership | Tokens and accounts stay yours | Shared logins are common | Yours, if they document it |
What Our Clients Say
Feedback from teams we have built booking sites, apps, and integrations for.
We had a pretty specific idea of what we wanted our website to become, but I wasn’t sure how easily we could explain all of it to a development team. There were quite a few moving parts, and we were working toward a deadline, so I expected a few things to get lost along the way. That never really happened. They understood what we were trying to achieve, kept us updated throughout the process, and got everything ready within the agreed timeline. The final site feels much easier to navigate, works beautifully on mobile, and is noticeably smoother for our customers. It was a huge relief seeing the original idea actually turn into the website we had in mind.
The mobile experience is probably my favourite part of the new site. We had spent a lot of time making sure the desktop version looked right, and the team kept pushing us to think about how everything would actually feel on a phone too. They were right. The navigation is clean, the interactions feel natural, and everything we’ve tested so far works exactly as it should. They also went through the links, forms, integrations, and other details more than once before launch, which I really appreciated. And even after going live, we could still reach out when something came up. The whole process felt friendly, organised, and surprisingly straightforward.
What I appreciate most is that the website is actually easy for us to manage now. We can update content ourselves instead of sending a developer a message every time we need to change something small. They also paid attention to the technical SEO side, which mattered to us because we didn’t want a new website to create problems for the traffic we already had. I’ve probably asked more questions than I should have since launch, but every question has been handled patiently and without any fuss. The team is easy to work with, they explain things clearly, and when we need something changed, they focus on getting it done rather than making the process complicated.

Work Culture
We pick one owner for every piece of data, use the connection OwnerRez documents, and test with a quote and a stay before any guest arrives.
We decide which tool writes rates, codes, messages, and bookings before connecting anything. Two tools writing the same field is how double edits and wrong codes start.
API work uses a personal access token from your own OwnerRez account, or an OAuth app when an agency serves many clients. You can revoke either one yourself.
OwnerRez retries a failed webhook up to 10 times over about 4 hours. Our listeners answer fast and ignore duplicates, so one late reply doesn't create two tasks.
If PriceLabs, RemoteLock, or another listed partner already does the job, we connect it instead of writing code. Custom work covers only the gaps.
Some features need paid OwnerRez premiums, such as the WordPress Plugin and Integrated Websites add-on. We list each one before you approve the price.
You approve a fixed scope and price after the free data map. Anything outside it gets quoted separately instead of added quietly.
Overview
DeveloperLook sets up OwnerRez integrations for vacation rental owners and managers. We map which tool owns rates, codes, and bookings, then connect WordPress, PriceLabs or Wheelhouse, smart locks, and Airbnb, or build on the API. Projects start at $650, take 1 to 5 weeks, and run on your own accounts.

Good fit
Owners leaving the Hosted Website
You want guests booking on your own WordPress site through the OwnerRez WordPress plugin instead of the OwnerRez Hosted Website.
Managers pricing with PriceLabs
Your nightly rates come from PriceLabs, but someone still edits prices in OwnerRez, and the OwnerRez PriceLabs integration keeps overwriting them.
Hosts adding Yale or Schlage locks
You bought Yale Assure locks and assumed OwnerRez would send door codes, then learned it needs Jervis or RemoteLock in between.
Hosts chasing bookings from Google
You want homes on Google through the OwnerRez Google Vacation Rentals integration, and the 2025 guides you found don't mention Google Hotels.
Agencies building rental websites
You design vacation rental sites and need OwnerRez listings, availability, and booking widgets working on each client's own domain.
Not a fit
Business runs on Hostaway
Your listings live in Hostaway, not OwnerRez. Our Hostaway Integration page covers its webhooks, Marketplace apps, and turnover tasks.
Still on Lodgify
You run Lodgify and want its own booking website and widget. Our Lodgify Integration page is built around that direct booking stack.
Need full trust accounting
You need strict trust accounting with liability tracking. OwnerRez points managers to partners such as Clearing, and we won't build a ledger to replace them.
One widget, under $650
You only need one booking widget pasted into a page. If OwnerRez's own widget guide already covers your case, we'll tell you before we quote.

Pricing
These are starting points in USD. Your final price depends on your number of properties, the partners involved, and any custom API code, and you get a fixed proposal after a free discovery call.
For Agencies
You own the host or property manager and their website. We supply the OwnerRez side: plugin and widget setup, pricing and lock connections, and API code through an OAuth app when you serve many accounts. Your brand stays on every handover.
White label: your client only ever sees your brand
Send the host's OwnerRez premiums, website platform, pricing tool, and locks.
You receive a fixed quote in your agency's name, ready to forward.
We connect, test one quote and stay, then hand over the map.

The Right Technology for Your Project
The OwnerRez connections we use most, each picked because OwnerRez or the partner documents how it works.

Start with OwnerRez's 14-day free trial and its free one-hour Jumpstart call with an onboarding specialist. Then follow its setup checklist: listing content, rates and quotes tested, channels connected last, and booking history imported. If you want the website, pricing, locks, and API handled for you, our OwnerRez integrations start at $650 and take 1 to 5 weeks.
OwnerRez is vacation rental software for owners and property managers, from one cabin to large portfolios. It runs the booking calendar, channel management with Airbnb, Vrbo, and Booking.com, quotes, payments, rental agreements, guest messaging, and owner statements. It also offers hosted websites, a WordPress plugin, and an API for connecting other tools.
Yes. OwnerRez, Inc. was incorporated in January 2013, and its software began in 2007 inside its founder's own rental business. The company says it is privately owned and profitable, with no outside investors. Prices are published per property, there are no setup fees or contracts, and you can test it with a 14-day free trial.
Not in the App Store or Google Play: OwnerRez runs as a progressive web app. You open app.ownerrez.com in Safari on an iPhone, or in Chrome, Firefox, or Edge on Android, and add it to your home screen. It supports push notifications and does everything the desktop site does, including messages, bookings, and quotes.
Yes, through the official OwnerRez WordPress plugin and OwnerRez widgets. The plugin connects with your OwnerRez username and a personal access token, then shortcodes print property details, photo carousels, and amenity lists. Booking, availability, and inquiry forms come from widgets you embed. It needs OwnerRez's paid WordPress Plugin and Integrated Websites premium.
Yes. Wheelhouse connects through Add Channel, OwnerRez, then Authorize, and pushes nightly rates and minimum stays into OwnerRez as spot rates. Changes made in Wheelhouse sync almost right away, while OwnerRez sends its own updates back on a 24-hour cycle. PriceLabs connects in a similar way, so pick one pricing tool for each property, not both.
Not fully. OwnerRez's Property Management premium follows a rents-in-trust model: you hold guest money in a separate escrow account, and it produces owner statements, commissions, and payout records. OwnerRez itself says it doesn't have a full trust accounting module, and it points managers to partners such as Clearing or VRPlatform. Payouts happen outside OwnerRez and are recorded afterward.
Usually not both. iGMS and OwnerRez each cover channel management, guest messaging, and direct booking, so most hosts pick one as their main system. OwnerRez goes deeper on quotes, rental agreements, owner statements, and its API, while iGMS leans on messaging, cleaner access, and mobile apps. Choose by the work your business does each day.
Not directly: neither company lists an OwnerRez and iGMS integration. Running both on one Airbnb account causes trouble, because the OwnerRez Airbnb integration makes OwnerRez the account's connected software and replaces the Airbnb calendar. If you're moving from iGMS to OwnerRez, import bookings first, then switch the channel connection on a planned day.
You create a quote from the guest's inquiry or from scratch, choosing the property, dates, and price, then send it by email. The guest opens that link to accept, pay, and sign the rental agreement. Triggers can also create quotes automatically, which we set up when inquiries arrive faster than your team can answer them.
