The Problem

When Two Customers Book the Same Tent for Saturday

Rental software questions usually start after a double booking: the inventory lived in one place, the quotes in another, and nobody saw the clash until loading day.

  1. 01 · Bookings

Two customers get the same item for one Saturday.

One system owns stock and dates, and every quote checks it first.

  2. 02 · Requests

Website quote requests land in an email inbox.

Wishlists or online checkout create the quote or order inside the rental system.

  3. 03 · Contracts

Signed contracts and deposits live in separate places.

Online signatures and Stripe deposits attach to the same order record.

  4. 04 · Books

Your bookkeeper retypes every order into QuickBooks monthly.

Invoices, payments, and payouts sync to QuickBooks Online or Xero as they happen.

Your sales lead quotes the last frame tent on Tuesday. On Wednesday your website form sends a request for the same Saturday, and someone says yes from the shared inbox. Signed contracts come back as PDFs nobody can find, and deposits sit in Stripe without matching invoices. Your bookkeeper rebuilds every order in QuickBooks at month end. Linens and chairs live in a spreadsheet that's right on Monday and wrong by Friday. The cost lands on loading day: a short truck and an awkward phone call.

We start by deciding which system owns your stock and dates: Goodshuffle Pro when every job is a quote you approve, Booqable when customers book and pay online. We load items, kits, quantities, and buffer times, then connect your website, payments, and books to that one record. Quotes get checked against live stock before anyone says yes, not after the truck is loaded.

  • One record for stock

Every tent, table, and linen tracked by date in a single system, so clashes show up early.

  • Quotes from live availability

Website requests arrive as quotes or paid orders, checked against what is actually free that day.

  • Books that match deposits

Invoices, payments, and payouts reach QuickBooks Online or Xero instead of being retyped each month.

Our Party Rental Software Integration Process

From System Choice to Tested Bookings in Five Clear Steps

You see the system recommendation, the inventory plan, and every connection before anything goes live. Each step ends with something your team can test with a real order.

  1. We look at how you quote, book, deliver, and invoice today, plus your website platform and accounting software. You get a written pick between Goodshuffle Pro and Booqable, or a plan for the one you have. If your current setup already covers it, we'll tell you before we quote.

What's Included

What You Get When We Connect Party Rental Booking Software

Each project covers the rental system, your website, payments, and accounting, so stock, quotes, and money sit in one place. You keep admin access to every account.

  • Inventory loaded and checked

Items, quantities, kits, photos, and buffer times entered once, so availability is right from the first day.

  • Website catalog connected

Goodshuffle wishlists or Booqable store components placed on your WordPress, Squarespace, Wix, or Webflow catalog pages.

  • Deposits and payments

Stripe card payments, deposit rules, and refunds set up so every order shows exactly what has been paid.

  • Accounting sync

Signed Goodshuffle projects post to QuickBooks Online, or Booqable orders reach Xero, or QuickBooks through Zapier.

  • Booking tracking

Wishlist submissions and checkouts sent to GA4 as key events, so you see which pages bring in orders.

  • Testing, guide, and handoff

Test orders on every path, a written staff guide, and every admin login handed back to your team.

What Our Clients Say

What Clients Say After Launch

Feedback from teams we have built websites, apps, and integrations for.

We had a pretty specific idea of what we wanted our website to become, but I wasn’t sure how easily we could explain all of it to a development team. There were quite a few moving parts, and we were working toward a deadline, so I expected a few things to get lost along the way. That never really happened. They understood what we were trying to achieve, kept us updated throughout the process, and got everything ready within the agreed timeline. The final site feels much easier to navigate, works beautifully on mobile, and is noticeably smoother for our customers. It was a huge relief seeing the original idea actually turn into the website we had in mind.

Work Culture

Why Rental Companies Trust Us With Their Booking Systems

Party rental management software only pays off when stock, quotes, and money line up. These habits keep them lined up from the first review to peak season.

  • The vendor's features first

We use what Goodshuffle Pro or Booqable already does before writing any code. Built-in wishlists, checkout, and signatures cost less to run and get updated by the vendor.

  • Peak season in the test plan

We test a fully booked Saturday, not an empty week. Clashes, buffers, and delivery windows behave differently when every truck is already out.

  • Your accounts, your data

Rental system, Stripe, and accounting logins stay under your company. If you change vendors later, your item list and order history leave with you.

  • Warehouse input before launch

We walk the pull sheet and loading flow with whoever preps orders. Software that suits the office but not the warehouse fails on the first busy weekend.

  • Plain answers on limits

When a platform can't do something, such as Goodshuffle's missing QuickBooks Desktop link, we say so early. You decide with the trade-off in front of you.

  • Fixed price, written scope

You get a fixed proposal after the free review that lists items, connections, and tests. Extra work is quoted before it starts, so the invoice matches the plan.

Good fit

  • Small companies quoting from spreadsheets

You run rentals from a spreadsheet and a wall calendar, and want online party rental software for small business budgets that stops two customers booking the last tent.

  • Goodshuffle Pro users with a WordPress site

Your Goodshuffle Pro account works well, but your WordPress site still emails quote requests instead of sending a wishlist that lands as a quote.

  • Companies that want online checkout

You want customers to pick dates, see what's free, and pay a deposit online at midnight instead of waiting for a callback the next morning.

  • Booqable stores already on WooCommerce

Your WooCommerce product pages already rank for your rental items, and you need Booqable dates and checkout on each one without rebuilding the store.

  • Growing companies opening a second warehouse

Your party rental inventory management software was set up for one warehouse, and a second location now needs its own stock counts and delivery days.

Not a fit

  • Need a new rental website

You need a new website with item pages, a quote list, and delivery fees by distance. Our Party & Event Rental Website Design page covers that build.

  • Venue bookings, not rentals

You book event spaces and private dining, not equipment. Our Tripleseat Website Integration Services page fits venues and restaurant groups better.

  • Planner with no rental stock

You plan events and sell services, with no rental stock to track. Our HoneyBook Website Integration Services page suits planners who send proposals from HoneyBook.

  • Budget under $850

Your budget is under $850 and you rent a handful of items. Booqable and Goodshuffle Pro both offer free trials and step-by-step help articles, so try them on your own first.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Straight answers on Goodshuffle Pro, Booqable, QuickBooks Online, and what setup costs.

  • Goodshuffle Pro is event rental software for quotes, contracts, inventory, payments, and dispatch. Clients approve quotes and sign online, card and ACH payments run through Stripe and Plaid, and its Website Integration turns a website wishlist into a quote you approve. It suits companies where every job is quoted rather than sold at a fixed online price.

  • Booqable is cloud rental software built around an online store: customers pick dates, see live availability, and reserve or pay in Booqable's checkout. It also handles barcodes, deposits, e-signed agreements, and a mobile point-of-sale app. Its Grow plan adds API access, which is what we use when a rental company needs a custom booking flow.

  • Setting up Goodshuffle Pro or Booqable with DeveloperLook starts at $850 for one system with up to 150 items, a website catalog, and accounting connected. Adding Stripe deposits, contracts, and tracking moves you to the $2,100 plan, and custom booking builds start at $4,200. Your rental software subscription is billed separately by the vendor.

  • Most single-location setups take 1 to 2 weeks once we have your item list. Connected setups with payments, contracts, and tracking take 2 to 4 weeks, and custom Booqable builds take 4 to 6 weeks. Photo and quantity cleanup is usually the slowest part, so we send you a spreadsheet template on day one.

  • Goodshuffle is the company behind Goodshuffle Pro, registered as Goodshuffle, Inc. in Washington, DC. When rental owners say Goodshuffle, they usually mean the software. Its integrations page lists QuickBooks Online, Google Calendar, and the Website Integration. We found no public API or Zapier app in its documentation, so custom work happens on the website side.

  • Yes. Goodshuffle Pro is sold by Goodshuffle, Inc., a registered US company, and card payments run through Stripe rather than through Goodshuffle itself. Goodshuffle's integrations page describes its QuickBooks Online app as fully verified in the QuickBooks App Store. We have no partnership with Goodshuffle, so we judge it on features and fit, not referral fees.

  • Only with QuickBooks Online. Goodshuffle's help center says its integration doesn't support QuickBooks Desktop, so Desktop users move their company file to QuickBooks Online first. We plan that move with your accountant before any orders sync, because switching in the middle of peak season splits your records across two files.

  • Yes. Once a signed project syncs, Goodshuffle creates the QuickBooks Online invoice with services, rentals, and sales on separate lines. Card and ACH payments sync as payments, refunds as expenses, and Stripe payouts as bank deposits with fees netted out. Older projects default to Do Not Sync, so we decide together which history to send.

  • For most party rental companies, 4 matter: the website plugin, Stripe or PayPal, GA4 with the Meta Pixel, and Xero or Zapier. Booqable integrations include no native QuickBooks app, so QuickBooks users connect through Zapier triggers such as Completed Payment or Finalize Invoice. Mailchimp is there for past-customer email lists.

  • Yes, both. Its current API (version 4, still marked beta) follows the JSON:API format and uses access tokens, which we keep on a server rather than in the browser. In a Booqable WooCommerce setup, WooCommerce keeps your product pages and search rankings while a Booqable shortcode handles dates and checkout, so each product exists in both systems.
