How your project runs
Teams we have built for:

The Problem
It shows up once Odoo runs your warehouse and invoicing while customers buy on Shopify. Odoo has no built-in Shopify connector, so every order and stock change crosses by hand or through an add-on.
01 · Retyping
Someone copies web orders into Odoo by hand each morning.
Orders reach Odoo as confirmed sales orders, on a schedule or by webhook.
02 · Overselling
The website keeps selling sizes your warehouse no longer has.
Odoo owns stock and sends its free-to-use quantity per location to Shopify.
03 · Upgrades
A connector bought for one version breaks after an upgrade.
We check version support before you buy and retest before every upgrade.
04 · Variants
Variants arrive as separate products and split your reports.
We pick a connector that maps variants, or sync them ourselves, so reports stay whole.
Every morning, someone on your team copies yesterday's Shopify orders into Odoo. Stock sold at the counter doesn't reach the website, so Shopify keeps selling a size you don't have. The connector you bought for an older Odoo version stopped syncing after your upgrade. Variants arrive as separate products, so one shirt shows up as six in your reports. And on Odoo Online, you've just learned the API access you need isn't in your plan.
We start with your Odoo version, hosting, and pricing plan, because they decide which paths exist at all. Then we pick the lightest one that works: a connector from the Odoo Apps Store, or a custom sync on Odoo's JSON-2 API and Shopify's GraphQL Admin API. Products match by SKU, Odoo owns stock per warehouse, and paid orders become invoices on the right journal. Your team stops typing orders.
Hosting checked first
Odoo Online, Odoo.sh, and on-premise allow different apps and API access, so we confirm yours first.
Products matched by SKU
Every Shopify product and variant is matched to its Odoo product before the first sync runs.
Built on the current API
Custom syncs use Odoo's JSON-2 API, not the XML-RPC endpoints Odoo has deprecated.
Our Shopify Odoo Integration Process
Your accountant approves the journal map, and your team checks a full test run in a copy of your database, before the live sync touches a single record.
We confirm your Odoo version, hosting, and pricing plan, plus your Shopify plan and order volume. You get a plain answer on whether a connector or Odoo's API fits your setup today, and a fixed quote.
What's Included
A version and hosting review, SKU matching, warehouse stock sync, orders with invoices and payments, shipping and refunds, and a test run in a copy of your database.
Compare Options
A listed connector costs less when it supports your version and data, and an in-house developer makes sense for constant Odoo changes. Here's where each one fits your Shopify store.

What Our Clients Say
Feedback from teams we have built online stores and back-office integrations for.
We had a pretty specific idea of what we wanted our website to become, but I wasn’t sure how easily we could explain all of it to a development team. There were quite a few moving parts, and we were working toward a deadline, so I expected a few things to get lost along the way. That never really happened. They understood what we were trying to achieve, kept us updated throughout the process, and got everything ready within the agreed timeline. The final site feels much easier to navigate, works beautifully on mobile, and is noticeably smoother for our customers. It was a huge relief seeing the original idea actually turn into the website we had in mind.
The mobile experience is probably my favourite part of the new site. We had spent a lot of time making sure the desktop version looked right, and the team kept pushing us to think about how everything would actually feel on a phone too. They were right. The navigation is clean, the interactions feel natural, and everything we’ve tested so far works exactly as it should. They also went through the links, forms, integrations, and other details more than once before launch, which I really appreciated. And even after going live, we could still reach out when something came up. The whole process felt friendly, organised, and surprisingly straightforward.
What I appreciate most is that the website is actually easy for us to manage now. We can update content ourselves instead of sending a developer a message every time we need to change something small. They also paid attention to the technical SEO side, which mattered to us because we didn’t want a new website to create problems for the traffic we already had. I’ve probably asked more questions than I should have since launch, but every question has been handled patiently and without any fuss. The team is easy to work with, they explain things clearly, and when we need something changed, they focus on getting it done rather than making the process complicated.

Work Culture
Most teams want to automate Shopify and Odoo once and stop checking the sync every morning. These habits keep yours quiet long after launch.
If a connector on the Odoo Apps Store covers your version and data, we'll tell you before we quote a custom sync. You pay for code only where no listed app fits.
Connectors on the Odoo Apps Store are sold per version, and Odoo Online can't install them. We confirm your version and hosting before recommending anything.
Odoo 19 introduced the JSON-2 API and deprecated XML-RPC, which Odoo plans to remove in version 22. Our custom syncs use JSON-2, so your next upgrade doesn't strand them.
Every mapping runs against a copy of your Odoo database with real order types first. Your team checks invoices and stock moves before the live sync starts.
Connectors are built per Odoo version, so an upgrade needs a retest. We leave you a checklist, so your sync survives each new version.
Connectors run inside your own Odoo, and custom sync code goes into your repository. Your Odoo partner or in-house developer can read and change every mapping.
Overview
DeveloperLook builds Odoo Shopify integration for stores that run inventory, invoicing, and shipping in Odoo. We check your Odoo version and hosting, then set up a listed connector or a custom sync on both APIs, with products, warehouses, and payments mapped first. Projects start at $900 and take 2 to 8 weeks.

Good fit
Stores running stock and invoicing in Odoo
You need an odoo shopify integration that turns web orders into sales orders and invoices, and keeps stock from your Odoo warehouses accurate online.
Brands on Odoo.sh or self-hosted Odoo
Your Odoo runs on Odoo.sh or your own server, so you can install a Shopify connector from the Odoo Apps Store and want it configured properly.
Odoo Online users weighing their options
You use Odoo Online and just learned connectors can't be installed there, so you need to know what the Custom plan and Odoo's API make possible.
Teams replacing a broken connector
Your old odoo shopify connector stopped syncing after an Odoo upgrade, and orders are piling up while you decide whether to replace it or rebuild.
Odoo partners and Shopify agencies
You implement Odoo or build Shopify stores, and a client needs the shopify integration with odoo scoped, built, and tested without your team losing a sprint.
Not a fit
Your ERP is Business Central
You run Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central rather than Odoo. Our Shopify Business Central Integration page covers Microsoft's connector and its extensions.
Store runs on WooCommerce
Your online store runs on WooCommerce, not Shopify. Our WooCommerce Integration Services page covers Odoo and other systems for WordPress stores.
Odoo changes, not a sync
You need Odoo modules, reports, or workflows changed rather than a Shopify connection. An Odoo development partner fits that work better than we do.
Budget under $900
Your budget is under $900 and you take a few orders a day. A listed connector on the Odoo Apps Store, installed by your Odoo partner, will likely cover it.

For Agencies
You own the client relationship. We supply the Shopify side of your Odoo projects: version checks, data maps, connector setups, and custom syncs on Odoo's API. Your client sees your team, and every script stays in their database and repository.
White label: your client only ever sees your brand
Send the Odoo version, hosting, Shopify store, and what has to sync.
You get a data map and a fixed quote to share with your client.
We connect, test in a database copy, and hand over under your brand.
You lead every client call while we map and connect behind you.

Custom sync code committed to your client's repository, ready for review.
Shopify developers for your Odoo projects without another hire.
The Right Technology for Your Project
A listed connector when it fits your version, Odoo's JSON-2 API and Shopify's GraphQL Admin API when it doesn't, and a database copy to prove both.

A Shopify Odoo integration starts at $900 to set up and map a listed connector for one store. A full order-to-invoice sync with variants, warehouses, payments, and refunds costs $2,650, and a custom sync on both APIs starts at $5,700. Each is a fixed price, and any connector license is paid to its publisher.
Connector setups take 2 to 3 weeks, including a test run in a copy of your database. Full order-to-invoice syncs take 3 to 5 weeks, and custom API builds take 5 to 8 weeks. Clean product data in Odoo, with a SKU on every variant, is what keeps a project at the short end.
Not out of the box. Odoo's documentation lists built-in connectors for Amazon and other marketplaces, but none for Shopify. You add a paid connector from the Odoo Apps Store, including one Odoo supports for version 19, or a custom sync built on Odoo's API. Your version and hosting decide which of those you can use.
Only partly. Odoo Online can't install custom modules or apps from the Odoo Apps Store, so Shopify connectors need Odoo.sh or on-premise hosting. Outside software can still reach Odoo Online through the external API, but Odoo includes that only in its Custom pricing plan. We'll check your plan before you pay for anything.
Confirm your Odoo version and hosting first, then choose a connector or a custom sync. Map products by SKU, warehouses to Shopify locations, and payment methods to journals before the first sync. Test real order types in a copy of your database, then switch on the live sync and watch the first days.
A connector is enough when it supports your Odoo version and covers your data as it is. Choose a custom sync when you need variants kept as variants, pricelists, new orders arriving by webhook, or Odoo Online on the Custom plan. We'll tell you which one fits before quoting.
For an Odoo Shopify API build, we use Odoo's JSON-2 API with an API key and Shopify's GraphQL Admin API with webhooks. Odoo deprecated its XML-RPC and JSON-RPC endpoints in version 19 and plans to remove them in Odoo 22, so new syncs shouldn't rely on them.
Odoo stays the stock owner. Each warehouse location maps to a Shopify location, and Odoo sends its free-to-use quantity after changes or on a schedule. Shopify doesn't write stock back, apart from a one-time import during setup if you want your current counts pulled in.
Yes. Paid Shopify orders can create an Odoo invoice and register the payment, with each Shopify payment method mapped to its own journal. Refunds become credit notes against the original invoice. We agree the mapping with your accountant first, so payouts reconcile inside Odoo instead of a spreadsheet.
Connectors are sold per Odoo version, so an upgrade needs the matching release and a retest. Every plan includes 30 to 90 days of post-launch support, plus a retest checklist for later upgrades. Custom sync code sits in your repository, so your own developer can update it too.
