The Problem
It shows up once your store sells daily. Buyers live in Shopify, texts and emails live in HighLevel, and a weekly spreadsheet export bridges the two.
01 · Weekly exports
Someone exports Shopify customers to a spreadsheet every Monday.
HighLevel's Shopify sync brings new customers and orders in automatically.
02 · Cold checkouts
Friday's abandoned checkouts get their first reminder on Monday.
The Abandoned Checkout trigger sends a reminder after the window you set.
03 · Missed opt-outs
A buyer turned off texts, but HighLevel kept sending them.
Opt-in tags from Shopify keep texts limited to buyers who agreed.
04 · Idle reviews
Review requests sit idle because nothing reports shipped orders.
A fulfillment trigger starts each review request once the package ships.
It's Monday, and someone on your team exports last week's Shopify customers, cleans the columns, and uploads them to HighLevel. By then, Friday's abandoned checkouts have gone cold. A buyer who ordered twice gets the same welcome text as a stranger. Another turned off text messages in Shopify, but HighLevel didn't hear about it. Your review requests sit idle because nothing tells HighLevel an order shipped. You pay for automation and still run it by hand.
We start by testing what HighLevel's Shopify sync brings over from your plan, then give each field and tag one owner. Your customers, orders, and checkouts arrive as tagged contacts, and your workflows run on HighLevel's current triggers. Where the built-in sync falls short, a Shopify webhook feeds an Inbound Webhook trigger instead. Texts go out on your registered A2P campaign, only to buyers who opted in. Your follow-up runs on real orders, not last week's export.
Native sync tested first
We check what HighLevel's Shopify integration imports from your plan before building anything on top of it.
Workflows on real orders
Your order placed, fulfilled, and abandoned checkout events start the right texts and emails automatically.
Texts that stay compliant
A2P brand and campaign registration plus opt-in tags keep your SMS inside carrier rules.
Our GoHighLevel Sync Process
You approve the field map and every message before anything sends, and you watch test orders move through each workflow first.
We look at your Shopify plan, your HighLevel sub-account, and how you reach buyers today. You get a plain answer on the built-in sync versus webhooks, with any Shopify Basic limits flagged before you pay.
What's Included
A tested connection, tags that sort your buyers, workflows on current triggers, texting registration, and a runbook, scoped to your plan and your store.
Compare Options
Connecting HighLevel's own Shopify sync yourself is the cheapest start, and an automation app is flexible. Here's where each holds up and where it leaves gaps.

|---|---|---|---|
| Time to start | 1 to 4 weeks | An afternoon | A few days |
| Upfront cost | From $600, fixed | Your own time | Low setup cost |

Projects We've Built
Online stores and shopping apps our team designed and built. They show the customer and order data a HighLevel sync carries, not HighLevel builds themselves.
What Our Clients Say
Feedback from teams we have built stores, websites, and integrations for.
We had a pretty specific idea of what we wanted our website to become, but I wasn’t sure how easily we could explain all of it to a development team. There were quite a few moving parts, and we were working toward a deadline, so I expected a few things to get lost along the way. That never really happened. They understood what we were trying to achieve, kept us updated throughout the process, and got everything ready within the agreed timeline. The final site feels much easier to navigate, works beautifully on mobile, and is noticeably smoother for our customers. It was a huge relief seeing the original idea actually turn into the website we had in mind.
The mobile experience is probably my favourite part of the new site. We had spent a lot of time making sure the desktop version looked right, and the team kept pushing us to think about how everything would actually feel on a phone too. They were right. The navigation is clean, the interactions feel natural, and everything we’ve tested so far works exactly as it should. They also went through the links, forms, integrations, and other details more than once before launch, which I really appreciated. And even after going live, we could still reach out when something came up. The whole process felt friendly, organised, and surprisingly straightforward.
What I appreciate most is that the website is actually easy for us to manage now. We can update content ourselves instead of sending a developer a message every time we need to change something small. They also paid attention to the technical SEO side, which mattered to us because we didn’t want a new website to create problems for the traffic we already had. I’ve probably asked more questions than I should have since launch, but every question has been handled patiently and without any fuss. The team is easy to work with, they explain things clearly, and when we need something changed, they focus on getting it done rather than making the process complicated.

Work Culture
A Shopify sync touches your client's buyers, texts, and HighLevel bill. These habits keep the data clean, the messages compliant, and the costs predictable.
HighLevel marks its older Shopify Abandoned Cart trigger as deprecating soon. We build on Abandoned Checkout instead, so your reminders keep running after the switch.
HighLevel's help center says contacts and orders may not sync from Shopify Basic stores. We test your store before quoting, so your plan matches what comes through.
Texts go only to buyers tagged as opted in. Your A2P campaign describes the messages we actually send, so carriers see a sender that matches its registration.
HighLevel bills premium triggers such as Inbound Webhook at 1 cent per run after 100 free lifetime runs. We use native triggers first, so your agency bill stays predictable.
If HighLevel's own store or an order form covers your few products, we'll tell you before we quote. Shopify earns its fee when your catalog, shipping, and tax get complex.
Your connection, workflows, and any webhook code live in your Shopify store and HighLevel account. Your agency can reuse the setup for the next client without asking us.
Overview
DeveloperLook gets Shopify integrated with GoHighLevel so orders and abandoned checkouts land in your sub-account as tagged contacts. Good fit
Agencies running HighLevel for store clients
Your agency runs a store client's texts and emails in HighLevel, and you need Shopify orders feeding that sub-account without weekly CSV uploads.
Store owners texting buyers from HighLevel
You already use HighLevel for SMS and calls, and you want each Shopify order to start the right thank-you and review texts.
Brands chasing abandoned checkouts
Your checkouts get abandoned every day, and you want HighLevel reminders that stop the moment the buyer finishes the order.
Stores on the Shopify Basic plan
Your store runs on Shopify Basic, contacts aren't reaching HighLevel, and you need a webhook path that keeps Shopify integrated with GoHighLevel.
Funnel sellers with a Shopify catalog
You build offers in the GoHighLevel funnel builder for Shopify products and want checkout, stock, and tax to stay in Shopify.
Not a fit
Email runs in Klaviyo
Your store sends email and SMS from Klaviyo and doesn't use HighLevel. Our Klaviyo Shopify Integration page covers that setup instead.
Simple app hand-offs
You need a few simple hand-offs between many apps, not order workflows. Our Zapier Consultant and Automation Services page fits that better.
Tasks inside Shopify
You want order tags, stock alerts, or fraud holds handled inside Shopify itself. Our Shopify Flow Automation Setup page handles that work.
Budget under $600
Your budget is under $600 and you sell a handful of products. HighLevel's own Shopify integration guide will get a basic sync running.

For Agencies
You own the client relationship. We supply the Shopify and HighLevel engineering behind your offer: the sync, the workflows, the webhooks, and the A2P paperwork. Your client talks to your team, and everything is built inside their accounts.
White label: your client only ever sees your brand
Send the store URL, the HighLevel sub-account, and your client's messaging goals.
You get a fixed quote and a field map your client can approve.
We build, test with real orders, and hand over a runbook under your brand.
You lead every client call while we work inside their sub-account.
A fixed price for each store and sub-account, so your margin holds.
Documented tags, fields, and workflows you can reuse for the next store client.
Extra hands for busy onboarding months without hiring another HighLevel admin.
The Right Technology for Your Project
HighLevel's own Shopify integration and workflows first, with Shopify webhooks and a small middleware service only where the native sync leaves gaps.

Connecting Shopify to GoHighLevel starts at $600 with us, for HighLevel's built-in sync with 3 order workflows and A2P registration. Pipelines, custom fields, and up to 8 workflows cost $1,550. Custom syncs for up to 3 stores cost $3,300. HighLevel bills your plan, LC Phone usage, and premium trigger runs separately.
A native GoHighLevel sync with 3 workflows takes 1 to 2 weeks. Builds with webhook triggers and pipelines take 2 to 3 weeks, and multi-store syncs take 3 to 4 weeks. Your A2P approval runs on the carriers' review schedule, so we submit it in the first days.
Yes, HighLevel has a native Shopify integration in each sub-account, under Settings, Integrations, Shopify. You approve it on Shopify's install screen, and it imports products, collections, contacts, orders, and transactions. The sync runs one way, from Shopify into HighLevel, so nothing in HighLevel changes your store.
Yes, a HighLevel funnel can sell Shopify products when its buttons point at Shopify cart permalinks, which open Shopify's checkout with the product loaded. Your stock, tax, shipping, and orders stay in Shopify. Each order then syncs into HighLevel as a tagged contact, so your funnel's next messages start on their own.
Keep Shopify as your store when your catalog, shipping rules, taxes, or apps matter. HighLevel can sell too, through its Ecommerce Stores and funnel order forms, with payments by Stripe, PayPal, Square, and a few other gateways. For a short product list that may be enough; otherwise, Shopify takes orders and HighLevel runs your messages.
Your customers arrive as contacts, Shopify customer tags become contact tags, and orders and transactions come with them. Products and collections land in HighLevel's Payments section. Watch 2 details: HighLevel fills a contact field only when it's empty, and taxes aren't mapped to products, so we plan around both.
Partly: on Shopify Basic, HighLevel's help center says contacts, orders, and transactions may not sync, while products and collections still do. We test your store before quoting. If contacts don't arrive, each order goes through a Shopify webhook into an Inbound Webhook trigger, which keeps your workflows running.
HighLevel's Abandoned Checkout trigger fires for connected stores like Shopify once a checkout sits unfinished past the window you set. It needs a valid email on the checkout. We build on it, not on the older Shopify Abandoned Cart trigger that HighLevel marks as deprecating soon. Reminders stop once the order arrives.
Yes, A2P 10DLC registration is required for texts to US numbers sent from a standard 10-digit local number. HighLevel handles it in its Trust Center as a brand plus a campaign. Your campaign needs opt-in wording, sample messages, and public privacy and terms links, which we write from your workflows.
Support for keeping Shopify integrated with GoHighLevel lasts 30 to 90 days after launch, depending on plan. We fix contacts that land wrong, adjust workflows when HighLevel changes a trigger, and recheck webhooks after each new Shopify API version. Everything stays in your accounts, so your team can take over anytime.
