LET'S DISCUSSWe had a different kind of problem. People were visiting the store, adding products to their carts, and then disappearing before they finished the order. We had tried a few apps and made changes here and there, but nothing really seemed to solve the bigger issue. The team went through the shopping experience with us and pointed out things we hadn't really noticed ourselves. They cleaned up the cart and checkout flow, made the mobile experience much smoother, and helped us make the store feel easier to shop. I’m not going to pretend we fixed everything overnight, but it finally feels like the store is helping the sale instead of getting in the way of it.

The mobile experience is probably my favourite part of the new site. We had spent a lot of time making sure the desktop version looked right, and the team kept pushing us to think about how everything would actually feel on a phone too. They were right. The navigation is clean, the interactions feel natural, and everything we’ve tested so far works exactly as it should. They also went through the links, forms, integrations, and other details more than once before launch, which I really appreciated. And even after going live, we could still reach out when something came up. The whole process felt friendly, organised, and surprisingly straightforward.

We had a pretty specific idea of what we wanted our website to become, but I wasn’t sure how easily we could explain all of it to a development team. There were quite a few moving parts, and we were working toward a deadline, so I expected a few things to get lost along the way. That never really happened. They understood what we were trying to achieve, kept us updated throughout the process, and got everything ready within the agreed timeline. The final site feels much easier to navigate, works beautifully on mobile, and is noticeably smoother for our customers. It was a huge relief seeing the original idea actually turn into the website we had in mind.

07Work Culture
Why Merchants Trust Us With Indexing
Pages Google does not index cannot rank, so we start with what search engines actually see. These are the habits we bring to crawl budget optimization for ecommerce.
Search Console first
We work from Google's own data on your pages.
Root causes found
We find why pages are skipped, not just list them.
Sitemap and robots fixed
Shopify defaults are corrected where they hurt you.
Waste reduced
Google spends its crawl on pages that matter.
Honest timing
Fixes go live in weeks, re-indexing shows over one to two months.
Simple pricing
A one-time fee with a clear scope.
08Overview
Why did Google index only some of my Shopify product pages, and how do you fix it?
The most common cause is crawl budget wasted on thin, tag-filtered duplicate pages instead of real products. We audit your Search Console coverage report for excluded and duplicate statuses, fix or extend your robots.txt.liquid safely (deleting it just reverts to Shopify's default, it doesn't remove robots.txt entirely), verify your sitemap doesn't point at broken URLs, and confirm canonical tags are pointing correctly. Starts from $899 one-time.

Who it's for
Stores with partial indexing
Google only shows a fraction of your product pages in search results.
Stores with Search Console warnings
You're seeing 'excluded' or 'duplicate' statuses in your coverage report and don't know what's causing them.
Stores with large catalogs and crawl waste
Your tag and filter URLs are eating crawl budget that should go to real product pages.
Stores unsure about robots.txt edits
You want to customize robots.txt without accidentally blocking Google from your whole store.
Stores that recently changed sitemap or URLs
A migration or theme change may have broken your sitemap or canonical setup.
Not a fit for
You want broader Shopify SEO beyond indexing, including content and schema. Our Shopify SEO Services page covers that fuller scope.
You want the full technical SEO picture across any platform. Our Technical SEO Services page covers site-wide technical work.
You want collection page copy and canonical strategy specifically, not sitewide indexing. Our Collection & Category Page SEO page covers that.

Why did Google index only some of my Shopify product pages?
Usually crawl budget wasted on tag-filtered or parameter URLs, thin or duplicate content, or pages excluded from your sitemap. We audit your Search Console coverage report to find the actual cause before fixing anything.
How do I fix Shopify sitemap errors?
We check that your sitemap.xml doesn't point at broken or redirected URLs, that it's submitted correctly in Search Console, and that its Sitemap: directive in robots.txt points at a live file.
How do I edit robots.txt on Shopify?
Shopify lets you customize robots.txt.liquid through the admin, using Liquid so Shopify can still auto-update the parts it manages. Shopify itself calls this an unsupported customization since incorrect edits can cost you traffic, so we handle it carefully.
How to remove a robots.txt file from a Shopify website?
You can't remove robots.txt entirely, every Shopify store has one. Deleting a custom robots.txt.liquid file just reverts you to Shopify's optimized default, which already blocks admin, cart, checkout, and filtered collection pages from crawling.
How do I fix duplicate and excluded pages in Search Console?
We go through the coverage report status by status, most duplicate and excluded issues on Shopify trace back to filter and variant URLs or thin collection pages, then fix the canonical or indexing signal causing each one.
How does crawl budget affect a large catalog?
Google only crawls so many pages per visit. If tag-filtered URLs and thin duplicate pages eat that budget, your real product and category pages get crawled less often and take longer to rank.
How do canonical tags work on Shopify?
Shopify automatically canonicals variant URLs and filtered collection pages back to their base version. We verify this is actually working correctly on your theme rather than assuming it is by default.
How much does an indexing fix cost?
Starts from $899 as a one-time project, scoped to your catalog size and how many coverage issues need fixing.
