The Problem

Your Sale Starts at Midnight, and So Does Someone's Shift

It shows up on every sale, drop, and seasonal launch a Plus store runs. Prices, products, stock, and the theme all have to change at once, then change back, usually outside working hours.

  1. 01 · Midnight work

Someone stays up to switch themes and prices by hand.

Launchpad switches the theme, publishes products, and applies discounts at the scheduled time.

  2. 02 · Missed revert

Full prices don't return until someone notices next morning.

Discounts and compare-at prices revert on their own when the event ends.

  3. 03 · Scripts ended

Old events relied on Shopify Scripts, which no longer run.

We rebuild script rules as Shopify Functions discounts with their own start and end dates.

  4. 04 · Blind launch

Nobody watches orders or stock while the drop is live.

We watch the event dashboard's sales, orders, and stock levels from the first minute.

Your sale starts at midnight, so someone on your team stays up to switch the theme, publish the new products, and change prices by hand. One collection gets missed. The sale ends, and full prices don't come back until someone notices the next morning. Your old Launchpad events relied on Shopify Scripts, which stopped running on June 30, 2026. And nobody is watching orders or stock while the drop is live.

We start with your event calendar and what each event must change: discounts, products, inventory, theme, and a password page before launch. Then we build each one in Launchpad and check every action before it's scheduled. We also plan your end state, because published products and added stock stay after an event ends. Script-based rules move to Shopify Functions discounts. Your sale starts and ends on time, not when someone wakes up.

  • Events that run themselves

Discounts, product publishing, inventory, and theme changes start and stop at the times you set.

  • End state planned

Your prices revert at the end, but published products and added stock stay, so we plan both with you.

  • Watched while it's live

The event dashboard shows sales, orders, average order value, and stock, and we watch it with you.

Our Shopify Launchpad Setup Process

From Event Brief to On-Time Launch in Five Steps

You approve each event's actions and its after-event state before anything is scheduled, then get a go or no-go call before the start time.

  1. We look at your upcoming sales and drops, your theme, and any old events that used Shopify Scripts. You get a plain answer on what Launchpad can schedule, what needs another tool, and a fixed quote.

What's Included

What You Get With a Shopify Plus Launchpad Setup

Scheduled events, a drop theme or landing section, a password page, Flow alerts, Functions discounts where Launchpad stops, and a live watch with a recap.

  • Launchpad event setup

Each event built in Launchpad with your discounts, product publishing, inventory adds, and theme switch scheduled.

  • Drop theme and landing

A drop theme version or landing section ready to switch on at your start time, then off at the end.

  • Password page before launch

An optional pre-launch password page set through Launchpad, so your early visitors see what's coming and when.

  • Flow alerts and actions

Shopify Flow workflows triggered when an event starts or ends, so your team hears about it right away.

  • Functions discounts

Shopify Functions discounts for your rules Launchpad can't apply, replacing the Scripts that stopped running in 2026.

  • Live watch and recap

The event dashboard watched during launch, then a recap of sales, orders, and best sellers for your team.

DeveloperLook vs Manual Changes vs a Scheduling App

Manual changes cost nothing for one small sale, and a scheduling app works on plans without Launchpad. Here's where each one fits once your sales and drops become a calendar.

Projects We've Built

Online stores and shopping apps our team designed and built for beauty, fashion, and home brands. They show the kind of stores you run, not Launchpad events.

What Our Clients Say

What Clients Say After Launch

Feedback from teams we have built online stores and launch-day setups for.

We had a pretty specific idea of what we wanted our website to become, but I wasn’t sure how easily we could explain all of it to a development team. There were quite a few moving parts, and we were working toward a deadline, so I expected a few things to get lost along the way. That never really happened. They understood what we were trying to achieve, kept us updated throughout the process, and got everything ready within the agreed timeline. The final site feels much easier to navigate, works beautifully on mobile, and is noticeably smoother for our customers. It was a huge relief seeing the original idea actually turn into the website we had in mind.

Work Culture

Why Plus Brands Trust Us With Their Launch Nights

A sale that starts late or ends wrong costs you more than the setup. These habits keep each Launchpad event of yours predictable from start to finish.

  • Shopify's free app first

Launchpad, Shopify Plus's free event app, covers most sales and drops. If its built-in actions handle your event, we'll tell you before suggesting any custom work.

  • Product status checked first

Draft or archived products can't be published by an event. We check your products' status and collection sizes before your start time, so nothing quietly fails.

  • No overlapping events

Launchpad doesn't allow overlapping events and needs a short gap between them. We plan your calendar around those rules, so a late sale doesn't block the next drop.

  • Stock that stays put

Inventory an event adds stays after it ends. We plan restock quantities with your team, so the count after the drop is the one you expect.

  • Alerts your team sees

Flow workflows tell your team when an event starts or ends. Nobody has to keep refreshing the admin to know a launch went live.

  • Your store, your settings

Events, theme versions, and Flow workflows all live in your own store. Your team can copy an event and run the next one without us.

Good fit

  • Plus brands running regular sales

You run several sales a year on Shopify Plus, and someone still switches prices and themes by hand at midnight.

  • Brands with limited product drops

You release limited products on a set date and need them published, stocked, and discounted at once, without anyone watching the clock.

  • Teams moving off Shopify Scripts

Your old Launchpad Shopify events used Scripts for discounts, and those rules stopped working when Scripts were retired on June 30, 2026.

  • Marketing teams planning a calendar

You plan a season of promotions and want each one built, approved, and scheduled weeks ahead, with alerts when it starts and ends.

  • Agencies running Plus clients

You manage Shopify Plus clients, and their launch nights keep landing on your developers' evenings instead of on a schedule.

Not a fit

  • Not on Shopify Plus

Launchpad only runs on Shopify Plus. Our Shopify Discount Functions Development page covers scheduled discounts on other plans through Shopify's own discounts or an app.

  • Every Script to migrate

You need every Shopify Script rewritten, not only the ones your events used. Our Shopify Scripts to Functions Migration page covers the full move.

  • A new theme for the drop

You need a full theme redesign for the drop rather than event setup. Our Custom Shopify Theme Development page covers theme builds.

  • Budget under $400

Your budget is under $400 and your event is one discount on one collection. A scheduled discount in your Shopify admin will cover it.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Straight answers on what Launchpad does, creating, monitoring, and stopping events, Scripts, limits, cost, and timelines.

  • A Launchpad setup starts at $400 for one event with your discounts, product publishing, and theme switch built, checked, and watched live. A calendar of up to 4 events with a drop theme and Flow alerts costs $1,100. A season of up to 10 events with a Functions discount costs $2,500, each at a fixed price you approve first.

  • One event takes 3 to 5 business days, including your plan, the build, and pre-launch checks. A calendar of up to 4 events takes 1 to 2 weeks, and a season with a drop theme and Functions discounts takes 3 to 4 weeks. Book at least a week before your first start date.

  • It's a free app for Shopify Plus stores that schedules sales, product drops, and restocks, then reports on them live. We work inside the Launchpad app Shopify provides, so you pay nothing extra for the tool itself. Your team can see and edit every event we build there.

  • You can schedule store changes that start and stop on their own. An event can publish products to sales channels, add inventory, apply discounts by product or collection, switch themes, and show a password page before launch. When your event ends, discounts and compare-at prices revert and your after-event theme goes live.

  • Open Apps, then Launchpad, and choose Create event. Add a title and a start date and time, pick the actions, and save. An event without a start date stays a draft, and one without an end date runs until someone ends it, so we set both on every event.

  • Open the event, then choose View event dashboard under its status. It shows total sales, orders, average order value, best sellers, and inventory levels, and stops reporting when the event ends or after four weeks. Failed actions aren't retried, so we watch each action's status closely.

  • Go to Apps, then Launchpad, select the event, click End event, and confirm. This works even when an end time is already set. Your discounts revert and the after-event theme switches in, but products the event published and inventory it added stay as they are, so plan for both.

  • No. Shopify Scripts stopped running on June 30, 2026, so the script options in your older Launchpad events no longer change anything at checkout. We rebuild those rules as Shopify Functions discounts with their own start and end dates, or as Launchpad discounts where the rule is simple.

  • Your events can't overlap, and each must start at least five minutes after the previous one ends. No collection in an event may hold more than 1,000 products, and percentage discounts apply to regular prices, not compare-at prices. We check all of these in your pre-launch review.

  • Support runs 30, 60, or 90 days depending on your plan, covering event edits, new events, and anything that fails to run. Your theme versions and Flow workflows stay in your store, and you get a short guide to building the next event yourself in Launchpad.
