The Problem
It shows up on launch day. Your new site matches your brand until someone taps Book, and a widget with its own fonts takes over.
Booking switches to Mindbody's fonts and layout.
Busy classes look open until they're nearly full.
Your site can't show waitlist status or openings.
Lapsed members get the regulars' newsletter.
A new member finds your studio on Instagram, taps Book, and lands on a schedule that looks nothing like your site. Your colors made it across, but the fonts and layout are Mindbody's. Your busiest class looks wide open, because Mindbody's widget shows capacity only once a class is 80% full. Your site can't show waitlist status. And lapsed members keep getting the regulars' newsletter from Klaviyo.
We style the widgets or build the schedule on the Public API.
Spots left come from Mindbody booking data, refreshed by webhooks.
Waitlist webhooks update your pages and alert members by email.
Webhooks send visits and contracts to your email tool for win-back flows.
We start by choosing the right depth for your studio. Styled well, Mindbody's own widgets cover many studios. When they can't, we build your schedule on the Public API, cached to keep fees down and refreshed by webhooks. Bookings and waitlists stay in Mindbody, instead of in a second system you'd have to reconcile.
Styled widgets or custom pages
Branded web widgets set up well, or a schedule designed on the API.
Capacity and waitlists shown
Open spots, full classes, and waitlist status come from Mindbody data that webhooks keep current.
Member data sent to your tools
New clients, bookings, and contracts reach your email tool, respecting each client's choices.
Our Mindbody Integration Process
You approve each stage before anything goes live: the widget or API plan, API access, and the test bookings in Mindbody's sandbox.
What's Included
Every plan puts Mindbody booking on your site. API plans add a custom schedule, pass and contract checkout, and webhooks for your email tool.
Compare Options
Mindbody's own widgets are free and quick, and plugins add some layout control. Here is where each option stops.

What Our Clients Say
Feedback from teams we have built booking sites and integrations for.
We had a pretty specific idea of what we wanted our website to become, but I wasn’t sure how easily we could explain all of it to a development team. There were quite a few moving parts, and we were working toward a deadline, so I expected a few things to get lost along the way. That never really happened. They understood what we were trying to achieve, kept us updated throughout the process, and got everything ready within the agreed timeline. The final site feels much easier to navigate, works beautifully on mobile, and is noticeably smoother for our customers. It was a huge relief seeing the original idea actually turn into the website we had in mind.
The mobile experience is probably my favourite part of the new site. We had spent a lot of time making sure the desktop version looked right, and the team kept pushing us to think about how everything would actually feel on a phone too. They were right. The navigation is clean, the interactions feel natural, and everything we’ve tested so far works exactly as it should. They also went through the links, forms, integrations, and other details more than once before launch, which I really appreciated. And even after going live, we could still reach out when something came up. The whole process felt friendly, organised, and surprisingly straightforward.
What I appreciate most is that the website is actually easy for us to manage now. We can update content ourselves instead of sending a developer a message every time we need to change something small. They also paid attention to the technical SEO side, which mattered to us because we didn’t want a new website to create problems for the traffic we already had. I’ve probably asked more questions than I should have since launch, but every question has been handled patiently and without any fuss. The team is easy to work with, they explain things clearly, and when we need something changed, they focus on getting it done rather than making the process complicated.

Work Culture
A wrong class time or a double-sold spot can cost you a member. These habits keep Mindbody in charge and your bill small.
Overview
DeveloperLook builds Mindbody integrations for fitness and wellness studios that want booking on their own site. We style Mindbody's widgets or build a custom schedule on its Public API, with passes, waitlists, and webhooks to your email tool. Projects start at $700, take 1 to 9 weeks, and the developer account stays in your name.
Your widget takes your colors and button text, but booking still looks like Mindbody, not your studio.
You fill most evening classes, and members need to see open spots and hear when a waitlist place opens.
You run several locations on one Mindbody site and want one schedule filtered by studio, class type, and teacher.
Your Mindbody data stays out of your email tool, so lapsed members get the same newsletter as yesterday's regulars.
Your agency designs studio sites and needs a Mindbody API developer for access, activation, and the build.
Your budget is under $700. Mindbody's own widgets on your current site cover the basics, as our free review will confirm.
You need a full studio website, not only booking. Our Gym Website Design and Boutique Fitness Studio Website Design pages fit.
Your gym runs on Glofox, not Mindbody. Our Glofox Gym Software Integration page covers its portal and API.
You book salon appointments in Vagaro. Our Vagaro Website Integration Services page covers its widget and webhooks.

For Agencies
You own the client relationship. We supply the Mindbody engineering behind the studio sites you design: developer accounts, API schedules, and webhooks. Your client gets booking that matches the design.
Send the design, the studio's Site ID, and what members should book online.
We choose widgets or API and send a fixed price with dates.
We build, test in the sandbox, and write the handover in your name.
The Right Technology for Your Project
We build on Mindbody's Public API and Webhooks API from a server, with cached schedules, signed webhooks, and logs your team can read.
FAQ
Straight answers on cost, timelines, widgets versus API, checkout, waitlists, webhooks, and API fees.
Mindbody integrations start at $700 for styled, tracked widgets on your site. Custom API schedules start at $2,100, and platforms with checkout and email tool sync start at $4,350. Mindbody bills its own API fees to you directly. You get a fixed quote after a free review.
A widget setup takes 1 to 2 weeks. API schedules take 4 to 6 weeks, and connected platforms take 7 to 9. Mindbody reviews each live access request first, so we file it in week one and build on the sandbox while that review is pending.
Studios move the schedule onto Mindbody's Public API and render it on their own pages. Widgets take only your colors and button text, and some builders force them into an iframe with its own scrollbar. An API schedule uses your fonts and layout, while bookings still come from Mindbody.
Partly, since the schedule widget takes your colors and button text but not custom CSS in its settings. For Mindbody widgets, custom design stops there, so we design the page around them: headings, spacing, photos, and the copy above each widget. That alone suits many studios.
You run checkout through Mindbody's shopping cart API from your server, using the cart total Mindbody returns. Card payments need an active Mindbody merchant account. Studios on Mindbody Payments with Stripe can also take Apple Pay and Google Pay through its alternative payment flow. On WordPress, a server route keeps the key hidden.
Mindbody stays the only system that sells a spot, so your site keeps no second count that drifts. Your site books through the API, which checks capacity and the class's web limit at that moment. Webhooks then report bookings, cancellations, and waitlist moves, so pages and emails update fast.
A small webhook service checks each X-Mindbody-Signature header and passes useful events on. New clients, bookings, contracts, and status changes become profile properties and events. Mindbody includes each client's email and text preferences, so flows only reach people who opted in. Win-back emails then start from real visit data.
Yes, Mindbody reviews each integration before it can touch live data. After approval, the studio owner activates access with a link or code Mindbody issues for that site. Until then, work runs on Mindbody's sandbox, which resets nightly. We handle the whole request for you.
The Mindbody API is free until your developer account passes 5,000 calls in a month. Past that line, Mindbody bills every call that month, the first 5,000 included, at a fifth of a cent each. Webhook deliveries don't count. We cache schedules, so most calls come from real bookings, not page views.
You do: the developer account, API keys, code, and hosting all sit in your name. Mindbody bills API use to that account, so costs stay visible to you. Every plan includes 30 to 90 days of support, plus a handover guide to keys, webhooks, and caching.
