The Problem
Most slow stores weren't built slow. Each app added a script, a widget, or a font, and some deleted apps left code behind. Nobody sees the total until mobile shoppers leave.
01 · Jumping buttons
Add to Cart jumps just as your thumb lands on it.
Layout shift and tap fixes keep buttons where shoppers expect them.
02 · Ghost scripts
Apps you deleted still load scripts on every page.
Leftover code from removed apps gets cleaned out of your theme.
03 · Red scores
Your mobile PageSpeed score shows red.
Core Web Vitals from real shoppers, by page type, guide every fix.
04 · Heavy widgets
Reviews and chat widgets load everywhere, even where unused.
App scripts load only on the pages that use them.
You open your best-selling product on your phone and wait. The photo appears. A reviews widget pushes it down, a chat bubble pops in, and the Add to Cart button jumps as your thumb lands. Your PageSpeed report shows a red mobile score. You deleted two apps last spring, yet their scripts still load on every page. Meanwhile ad costs keep rising, and each slow product page gives paid visitors a reason to leave.
We start with your Shopify web performance report, which shows real-visitor Core Web Vitals by page type. Then we run lab tests on the same templates and check what every app loads, and where. We remove leftover code, load app scripts only where they're used, and fix images and fonts in your current theme. Your design stays exactly as it is. Only the weight behind it changes.
Your current theme, kept
We fix the code and files behind your design instead of selling you a rebuild.
Every app checked separately
Each app is measured for the scripts it adds, where they load, and what it costs.
Measured on real visitors
Shopify's web performance report shows how fast pages load for real shoppers, by page type.
Our Speed Fix Process
You see the starting numbers, the ranked fix list, and a preview of every change. Your live theme stays untouched until you approve the copy.
We read your web performance report, run Lighthouse on your home, collection, and product pages, and list every app. You get a short summary of what's slowing the store and a fixed quote.
What's Included
Every project covers the audit, the fixes on your current theme, a speed report, and support after launch. Nothing gets redesigned unless you ask.
Compare Options
A speed app or a freelancer can fix part of the problem, and both cost less upfront. Here's where each stops, and what a Shopify speed optimization agency adds.

Projects We've Built
Shopify and ecommerce stores we've built for clients, with the kinds of themes and app setups we work inside every week.
What Our Clients Say
Feedback from store owners we've helped with checkout, speed, and catalog work.
We were getting plenty of traffic, but far too many people were leaving at checkout. The buying process had simply become too complicated. The team took the time to understand where customers were dropping off, then rebuilt the checkout flow and cleaned up the shopping experience. What I really appreciated was that they didn’t just make the store look better, they actually solved the problems that were costing us sales. The whole store feels faster, simpler, and much easier to buy from now. Exactly what we needed.
We had a different kind of problem. People were visiting the store, adding products to their carts, and then disappearing before they finished the order. We had tried a few apps and made changes here and there, but nothing really seemed to solve the bigger issue. The team went through the shopping experience with us and pointed out things we hadn't really noticed ourselves. They cleaned up the cart and checkout flow, made the mobile experience much smoother, and helped us make the store feel easier to shop. I’m not going to pretend we fixed everything overnight, but it finally feels like the store is helping the sale instead of getting in the way of it.
Our old store was making it way too difficult for people to find products. We had a large catalogue, but the search, filters, and mobile navigation were frustrating customers. The team completely changed how the store handled product discovery and made the experience much easier to use on mobile. I was especially impressed by how much thought went into the customer journey rather than just the visual design. They understood what we were trying to achieve and turned it into a store that actually feels built for our customers. We’re genuinely proud of the result.

Work Culture
Speed work goes wrong when apps get deleted by guesswork or tested on a fast laptop. These habits keep your store fast and working.
We record real-visitor and lab numbers for each template before the first edit. You judge the result on the same pages with the same tests.
Each app is weighed on the speed it takes and the monthly fee it charges. If one doesn't earn both, you see the numbers and decide.
Speed fixes happen behind the design you already approved. If a change would alter how a page looks, we ask first.
Every fix is built on a copy of your live theme and checked on real phones. Shoppers only see it after you approve it.
Some apps are worth the speed they cost, and some features belong in theme code. We'll say which is which, even when the answer is to change nothing.
Every fix lives in your theme files, with notes on what changed and why. There's no speed app to keep paying for.

Good fit
Shopify stores with a red mobile score
Your PageSpeed Insights report shows a poor mobile score, and everyone blames the apps, but nobody can say which ones.
Stores that removed apps but stayed slow
You uninstalled apps to speed things up, yet the store feels just as slow because their code still sits in your theme.
Brands happy with their current design
You like how your theme looks and sells, so a rebuild feels wrong. You want a faster store without a redesign.
Shopify Plus teams before a big sale
Your Black Friday ads are booked, and the product pages they point to are your slowest ones.
Agencies with a slow client store
Your client wants Shopify site speed optimization before a launch, and you need a specialist who works under your brand.
Not a fit
Non-Shopify site
Your store isn't on Shopify. Our Website Speed Optimization service covers WordPress, WooCommerce, and custom sites, hosting and caching included.
App cost report first
You want a written report on every app, its monthly cost, and leftover code before any fixes. Our Shopify Store Audit covers that.
Theme beyond saving
Your theme has been patched so often that fixing it costs more than a clean build. Custom Shopify Theme Development fits better.
One small image fix
You only need a fix under $650, like shrinking one set of banner images. Your theme settings or a simple app covers that for less.

$650one-time, USD
For stores where every template feels slow, including cart, search, and blog pages.
$1,350one-time, USD
For heavily customized themes that need code rebuilt, not just trimmed, in about 3 to 4 weeks.

Our speed work starts at $650 for your home, collection, and product templates, including leftover code removal and a speed report. A full pass on every template and app is $1,350, and a deep theme refactor is $2,450. You get a fixed quote after the free review.
Most key-template projects take 1 to 2 weeks from the free review to launch. A full store pass takes 2 to 3 weeks and a deep refactor up to 4, since every change is tested on a theme copy first. Real-visitor numbers then need a few weeks of traffic to catch up.
Start with the pages that carry your sales: home, collection, and product. Check what each app loads there, remove code left by deleted apps, and defer scripts that can wait. Then fix image sizes, reserve space for widgets, and retest on a mid-range phone rather than a laptop.
Many do, because each app can add scripts, styles, and fonts to pages that don't need them. Apps built as theme app extensions don't edit your theme code, so they remove cleanly. Older apps that edited theme files can leave code behind, as Shopify's help center notes.
Lighthouse, the engine behind PageSpeed Insights, rates 90 or above as good, 50 to 89 as needs improvement, and below 50 as poor. Its mobile test simulates a mid-tier phone on a slowed connection, so app-heavy stores score lower there. Real-visitor Core Web Vitals matter more to Google.
Often, yes, because much of the slowdown comes from how apps load, not whether they're installed. We load each app's scripts only where they're used, delay chat and review widgets until a shopper scrolls or taps, and clear out leftover code. If an app still costs too much, you'll see the numbers.
Your design stays the same unless you ask for a change. We work on the code behind each page: script order, image sizes, font loading, and leftover app code. If a fix would change how something looks, such as replacing an autoplay slideshow, you see a preview and decide.
We use two sources: lab tests and real-visitor data. Lighthouse runs on the same templates with the same settings each time, so scores compare fairly. Shopify's web performance report shows real-visitor Core Web Vitals by page type for the last 30 days and marks app installs on its chart.
We fix it at no extra cost if it happens within 30 days of launch, on any template we worked on. After that, your report lists what each template loads, so your team can judge a new app's weight before installing it or ask us for a quick check.
You do: every change lives in your own theme files, and there's no speed app to keep paying for. Your report records what we changed and why. If you switch themes later, that list shows which fixes to carry over, since code changes don't move to a new theme on their own.
